The Scarab cleaned my rug, I wasn't expecting too much because I thought it was beyond help! But it looks BRAND NEW!! I've had not great luck in the past with other cleaning companies, but Larry at The Scarab - wow what a surprise! He picked up the rug quickly and it was finished looking new in no time. Thanks

If you want to look at rugs call ahead for an appointment. Although half the store is draped with gorgeous rugs I was refused help for a $9k rug I was considering. I was asked to go online to look at it, as the man said he was the only employee in the store so he could not help. There appeared to be another woman folding items/working in the store. Regardless it was clear they did not care about earning my business. With a new house I could have purchased multiple rugs. Instead the employee would have rather sold the trinkets up front. Won't be back.

A gem of a store; visually tantalizing with beautiful handmade rugs, eclectic antiques and accessories, and unique, spirited clothing. In a world of sterile mass production it is refreshing to experience a place like this that exudes soul and true artistry. In addition, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful!

Ahhhh. I could have spent all day in there. What an amazing collection of interesting and unique items. The rugs are stunning. I personally purchased a few items including a set of horns. Larry was very helpful & knowledgeable. We will be back!!

You will not only have a good experience talking to the employees, you will most definitely find the rug you're looking for here. They have a wide variety of beautiful rugs, and more! I love shopping at the scarab if I'm looking for something really unique. Their inventory mostly consists of rugs, jewelry, and clothing. Their staff is very friendly and helpful and all of their products are so enthralling and will certainly suck you in.

Just moved to Minturn and wanted to check out some of the local shops. Went in to check out the rugs and wow I was bery surprised by all of the other treasures they had there! Ended up leaving woth a gorgeous amethyst crystal for a great price. Met the owner and his wife who were both very nice helpful. Cant wait to go back in!

This store is amazing, it is one of our most favorite stores here in the Vail valley. It carries a huge selection of beautifully hand woven rugs, textiles, jewelry and artifacts from many countries, every small or large stuff in this store is unique and perfect for gift for any occasions. Besides all the good stuff in the store, the people who work in this store are genuinely good people.
