“Lots to say in a positive light. Last October 25 my parked 2020 Avalon was damaged in a hit and run at a market parking lot. Right front damaged and because I approach and enter from the left side, didn’t notice it initially. Don’t know where or when other than it was fine at my home three days early. Front right bumper, and due to the extent, grill had to be replaced as well. Order parts, arrived a few days later, left the car and car finished for pickup ahead of the initial date.
Looked absolutely brand new! Complicated color being pearl infused with the metallic paint. Candidly, I didn’t believe it would look as perfect as it did. Hunted and couldn’t find it had ever been damaged; fit was perfect as well. Way beyond my expectations.
Today, I returned with my 2015 Tundra that had been pelted with bird crap. It looked like several vertebrate Aves were involved, ran down the drivers side mirror onto the painted finish, down the side on the paint all to way to the bottom of the door still. Three lines the entire distance, spreading wider as it headed down the door. I cleaned and attempted to polish the dried lines and spots only to discover it had penetrated the clear coat and onto the color underneath. I worked on it for an hour, different products, to no avail, zero help. Was looking like the entire driver’s door would have to be repainted, base and clear coat. Drove it over to them, no appointment hoping they would give me a prognosis, and make an appointment for the repair work. It was so bad, it had to be addressed.
Well, they agreed with my observation that the clear coat had been penetrated and the paint underneath damaged as well. They said, if I had time, they had time as well between appointment and could see what quick polishing could accomplish. They took it into the shop, 20 minutes later they returned with it and indicated the paint was damaged but they were able clean up an restore it enough to almost get all of it, except where the clear coat was missing. It looked Great! Fine lines remain at two of worse spots and is only discernible because I now it’s there. Looks like after car wash drying spot that I missed when drying it! That’s it! Not an issue any longer.

“10. Stars for today. I stopped in this morning because my car was cranking really slow and it has been the past week. I asked to have my battery tested. Jacob immediately came out and told me that my battery was nearly dead and definitely needed replacement. I went and purchased a new one. He came out with his tools and replaced it for me took the old battery back. This whole process only took about 15 minutes. I am a local Dog Walker and my whole day was going to be off schedule, but due to the immediate, efficient, professional service provided, I was only delayed about 15 minutes to my schedule. “I recently bought a new Frontier from these guys and the buying experience was flawless. It was quick and easy, with none of the usual games, and I got a fair price. This would have earned them 5 stars. BUT, the vehicle suffered some serious roof damage that I thankfully noticed before getting it home. It presumably happened during transport to the dealer. I can't believe they didn't see this upon inspection, buy who looks at the roof? Anyway, the dealer is handling the problem professionally and taking care of me. They even gave me a loaner while repairs are being made. The moral of the story is, don't hesitate to buy from Montrose Nissan, but pay extremely close attention to the condition of the vehicle when you pick it up.”
