Ran into a few snags trying to rent the truck but the desk agent in Montrose, Co was super patient and helpful! Really appreciate it though the stressful process!

Idk what to say about budget truck other than beware. To begin, they lied to me about the year the truck was. 2013, not a 2016. Bith seatbelts were broken in some way. The middle console was gone but screws were still sticking out of the paneling. The check engine light came on the first day of travel. The roof leaked when it rained. On top of that I asked for a truck with new tired and checked breaks bc i was driving through the Rockies. I was assured it was which is weird bc we blew a tire literally exactly where I was afraid we would get stuck: heading up hill on a blind curve next to a flat rock face. It ruined both back passengers and clamped the exhaust shut. For the record budgt is NOT BBB certified. Document every issue you have, call budget with evert complaint as you drive so its also documented on their system. If you turn them into the BBB they may be able to help you. I was refunded over half (least they could do) for everything. Dont let them walk on you. Everybody I talked to tried so an F for customer service. Right one lasy thing. If you call roadside assistance somebody may tell you to drive on a flat tire to get to a safe area. Don't. If the tire wraps around or damages anything youre financially responsible for that. Or ideally just dont use these douche bags.
