Stopped here on our way back to lake city. We got gas and then got snacks. They had everything we wanted, though they were low on some stuff. The staff said it was just hard to come by. Location was clean and easy to get to. staff was friendly. I am always happy to see a king soopers or city market as i know in general it will have stuff i can have or want.

I am dissatisfied with one of your employees, pharmacy should Kno that denying sales because there "discretion"tells them this sale could be unwise, is forcing some customers to hurt themselves, when the clear decision to purchase, and not share to help curb diesease.only to be denied is a shame for real

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I had to get a prescription filled and it was going to be almost $700/month WITH insurance. The pharmacy technician spent a long time searching for some kind of manufacturer discount for me. I thought she found me a $10 "coupon" and turned out it was a $10 copay card that is good for longer than I should need the meds! Her persistence saved me thousands of dollars. The pharmacist was also wonderful going through my long list of supplements to find any potential interactions. They were very caring and helpful. I don't think other pharmacies normally take this kind of time to help a customer.

The staff are all very good at what they do, as well as being caring and concerned. I have always been happy with them.

We started out heading for a different grocery store, but on our way we passed this City Market and thought sure, why not. I mean, how many grocery stores can one town of 19K people have? Well, later I learned that it has at least three, and two of them are City Market stores, and you're on your own as to which one is better. I can only say that this was a pretty straightforward grocery store, with everything you'd expect. We were looking for food for the next day, and were limited to a mini fridge and microwave in our hotel room, so we perused many an aisle for ideas. Being sapped from the sun, we probably spent more time here than necessary before settling on fried chicken, a salad, and some wraps. It's not my daily store so I can't give you the nuanced in and outs, but it's a grocery store full of groceries plain as can be, and that's all I needed it to be.

The Floral department is the best!! I've been sending flowers to my Mother for years from the City Market and they continue to over deliver expectations!! Great job to all!!

Terrible store. The meat is horrible noticed it's not graded choice any longer. God only knows where they're buying it. Feed it to our dogs. The place is dirty and it smellsOnly strength is the staff very nice and helpful. South Townsend store better--meat department still bad even at this store, which is much nicer and appears clean.. Products better in general at South Store. Corporate greed prevails.

I normally love this city market. Me and my husband bought groceries online. We went to pick up. Got home with it. My creamer was looking a little spoiled. Then today I opened our ham. Yikes! It turned greenish. Hope your not letting your employees leave the food out. I will be back. I'm hoping that was a one time thing. Thanks for offering the pick up and normally doing a great job.

I moved here from the mountains where backpacks are accepted as a lot of people bicycle for health and environmental reasons. This store asks that you leave your backpacks at customer service which I don't mind so much most of the time but it becomes really inconvenient when multiple people that are in the customer service line are waiting to be helped and you have to wait to start your shopping. The backpack policy is not being enforced and it's really unfortunate for those who are not thieves and have to add an extra 15 minutes to their shopping trip because of criminals causing shrink and in turn are not being prosecuted. I miss living in a bicycle friendly mountain town. Montrose is not that.

This place has gotten ridiculous. We only go to it because it's close to our house, but that will probably change. The biggest problems are with the pharmacy and the floral department. We'll start with the pharmacy. Their favorite thing to do is stand behind the barrier and talk and joke with each other while people wait in line. And wait. And wait. Every single time I pick up my meds they are never billed correctly. I have a lot of meds and I'm in there a lot. I'm not a new customer. It's ridiculous. One of my providers sent the script to the wrong City Market, and the pharmacy tech didn't want to call over and have it transferred. He finally said he would and it would be 20 minutes. So I waited. And waited. Finally after about 40 minutes I went to check on it and I found out that he never called them. So I had to wait another 30 minutes. Again, ridiculous. Let's move on to the floral department. We'll start by saying that my husband is a minority. My husband went there this morning to get fresh flowers for me and my mom. The florist didn't act like she wanted to help him. He asked if he could get a mixed bouquet of carnations. She said yes, but he would have to pay extra for a vase and the arrangement, with a total of $30. No less than 3 people asked for proof that he paid for the flowers. While he was there, a white guy came up and asked for the very same arrangement. She mixed the flowers, didnt require that he buy a vase or do the extras, and charged him $10. I looked at the receipt when he got home and it shows that he paid for a bouquet of roses. This is absolutely unacceptable. We'll be calling the store manager tomorrow and will take our business elsewhere.
