While the staff used to be friendly and helpful, some customers now report an unfriendly vibe with unhappy employees. However, there are still exceptions, like the helpful and cheerful Celina who provided great customer service. The store is known for its excellent selection of cheese, desserts, fresh produce, and the best ginger beer in town. They also offer additional services like cashing checks and money transfers. Despite the occasional issue with the self-checkout, City Market remains a reliable and long-standing option in the community.
