This was my first time renting a car. The girls were very nice at the counter. When she said that I had to pay $15 for an extra driver (she didn't say per day) I'm disabled and my daughter had to drive with her insurance. (we have the same address) I put the reservation in my name and had no idea that would make a deference. It was actually $15 A DAY, so they charged my credit card a $128. Make sure the reservation is under your name and you're the only driver to save $15 a day. I didn't drive once. Lesson learned.

By far the best experience I've ever had at any car rental place. Walked off the plane and I was walking away with my keys literally 60 seconds after getting to the counter. I don't know how they do it so quickly but I wish other locations could learn from them!

I had an online reservation and paid the initial fee. After driving 400 miles to Montrose from Cheyenne in a rented RV I went to the airport to pick up the car to sightsee in the area. I was informed that they only accept credit cards unless you are flying to and from the airport, that my debit card cannot be used. Not only do I not have a rental to get around in, they also stole my money.

Be careful renting from Hertz. The gal at the desk was great it's the company itself you have to watch out with.

Friendly and helpful staff. AAA made my reservation during a Managers Special which saved me about $800 since I was going to be in Colorado about 3 weeks. In this special you do do not pick your vehicle. I assume you get what is available. I was assigned a Toyota Tacoma 4 door at the desk. Enjoyed it very much. There is a gas station right beside the airport for refueling before turn in.

We rented a car for a Friday pick up. When we arrived at the kiosk our car was not ready. We waited 2 hours for the vehicle just sitting in the airport waiting to leave. My question is why even have ability to book a car if there are no vehicles available? I will NEVER use Hertz again. I am going national from here on out. I have never had a problem with them!!!
