I have had nothing but customer service problems in filling my prescriptions here and simple common sense problem solving totally escapes these people at this location. I don't recommend using this location unless it's your only option as their service is horrible and they will waste massive amounts of your time!

I had high hopes for this pharmacy since I do like the Safeway store, however the pharmacy has some very rude and inappropriate people working there. I tried to talk to the manager, and he claimed to be busy when I went in person to speak with him. I was assured he would call me back, but he never did. Very disappointing customer service. I won't be staying with this pharmacy.

Never fills prescriptions on timeManager and staff are very unfriendly. Take your business elsewhere as they do not care about you ,your just a number to them. Transferred everything to Walgreens so helpful

Kellen wouldn't quote me the price of my medication over the phone. Medication is expensive and I need to shop around. I understand they were busy. I asked if there was a better time to call and they said the only way to quote me was to have my prescription sent in and for me to drive and and they could only do it in person. It's a 90 minute round trip for me. I understand pharmacies are short staffed, but if your only solution for helping patients be able to price and afford their medication is to invest hours of the patient's time in sending the RX, driving there, and waiting in line, just to maybe find out their medication might be too expensive at your pharmacy, you're running a bad business and not supporting your staff. You lost a long term Pharmacy customer and grocery customer. Ridiculous service, poor communication skills. I won't be coming back to Safeway.

I can’t begin to say enough about the Safeway in Montrose. Not only are their employees absolutely stellar but their willingness to help local organizations is amazing. Do yourself a favor and order grocery pick up. Lory does an amazing job. I love this place!

Drove through Montrose and stopped here to get a quick snack, regretted it immediately. Half of the people inside didn't bother to wear a mask or even distance. What's the point of having signs posted everywhere about requiring masks and "caring about people", when this isn't enforced at all?

Love shopping at this Montrose neighborhood store. In these crazy "pandemic" days, I and my family appreciate being able to shop while NOT wearing a mask. We appreciate the helpfulness and great attitudes of the staff as well. Please do NOT require shoppers to wear masks. Thank you!

Safeway of Montrose seems to always be out of one thing or another. They go through employees as quickly as they change their weekly sales. This tells me they have poor management. I think it is rather tacky of the store manager to allow multiple store employees to smoke cigarettes in the outdoor seating areas. Each time I walk from my vehicle to the store I'm greeting by at least 3 employees sending a big cloud of smoke my way. I find outdated products regularly and they have a poor selection for a Safeway. The poorest selection of organic fruits and veggies in town as well. I will be shopping elsewhere. Somewhere where I'm not reminded that my money is going toward nicotine addiction.

Just FYI-Montrose Safeway does NOT compound drugs Website states it does but I called and was told this Safeway does not.

Rude staff and are usually out of medicine. Tamiflu is something during flu season a pharmacy should have. I used Safeway in NM for a long time and thought I'd get the same service in Montrose, boy was I wrong. City Market here I come!

My son went in for a flu shot and the male pharmacist couldn’t figure out insurance. He wasted 45 minutes of my son’s time who then went to Walgreens and got one.
