I have been going to Valerie since I was 14 years old. Almost 10 years! I will never use another salon or stylist! Val listens to what I envision for my hair and she makes my dreams come true! From highlights, to half black hair, to ombré, to going back to highlights, to going all dark! Valerie makes all my hair dreams possible! She will forever be my hairstylist and family to me! I’m not one to leave a bad review. However, it’s unfortunately come to this and I hope this review prevents anyone else from experiencing what I have.I’ve attempted contacting Valerie on several occasions and she refuses to reply to me. I’m embarrassed to say I’ve spent $400.00 only to have my hair completely damaged. The last 5 months I’ve spent even more money on hair treatments and color corrections with professional stylists.Back in July, I asked Valerie if it was possible to dye my brunette hair, silver. I wish I had educated myself on the process prior to letting her dye my hair because I would have known what she was doing wrong.First, she didn’t do a test strip after communicating that I had a balayage and color in my hair.Second, she bleached my entire head for over 7 hours. Yes 7 hours. In that time, she was cutting and doing other people’s hair instead of paying attention to mine. She was completely rushed and my hair was not picking up the bleach well. She kept adding more bleach and used an entire bleach bottle on my hair. The whole time I repeatedly told her it was burning and the only thing she told me was that it was normal.Finally, when she took the foils out, my hair came out with it. My hair was very obviously damaged and different colors. Not to mention tangled and in knots. When she combed my hair out, the ends started breaking off and stretching. She then began blaming the color in my hair on my past stylist for how it turned out.As a stylist, I believe you should know what you’re doing and not take on more than you can handle. Valerie charged me $400.00 and proceeded to say, “Don’t feel obligated to give me a tip.”Please use this as a learning experience as I hope this review prevents anything like that to happen to anyone else.

My girlfriend went to this salon and they totally messed her hair up. They then proceeded to ignore her when she requested a refund. Hundreds of dollars were spent to fix Valerie’s work.
