Looks like they prey on people who never changed oil in other places. I moved from Vail, the synthetic oil change there was more than twice cheaper. I have no clue how oil change can be 170 bucks. Never paid over 70-80 in the resort areas. I had a coupon too, they said they would give me another 10$ off, but none of the coupons were applied when I got home and looked at the printout. They also couldn't figure out how to reset that oil was changed in the car settings, and the whole process took forever. First and last time, I will be using Valvoline.

I had my car serviced here on Friday, Bear and Charles did absolutely phenomenal! I felt like I had no idea what I was doing and was scared they were going to tack on a bunch of other thing I needed serviced. NOPE! They were honest, professional, fast and efficient! The customer service was incredible. I live 3 hours away and will come back to this location to get serviced. My father passed away a couple month ago and they were telling me dad jokes which I appreciate cause I won’t ever get those again. It really touched me that they took time out of their day to put a smile on my face, so much so I left crying from laughing so hard. A small 15 minute interaction made my day so much better. Y’all really don’t know how much that meant to me. Thank you Bear and Charles, sincerely.

I have no idea to tell how negative an experience I had today. The thing is, it wasn't 100% their fault. They had to wait on a part for the vehicle in front of me, but they waited so long to order it. I was there for over an hour. A couple of apologies. Lots of excuses. I could go on and on about details and bore everyone to death. Long story short. Bad management. Not interested in keeping customers. They knew I'd been there for an awful long time. There was no, hey! How about 20, 30, 40% off since it took so long? Nope. They simply didn't care. Tell you what, y'all lost a customer today. Not because of the circumstance, but because you didn't offer to make it right, just a lot of excuses.

I have been having my cars serviced at this site for 30 years....it has been through a few changes of ownership. I am not sure if this location is franchise owned or corporate owned. I developed an oil leak with my oil pan after my most recent visit. I returned to this business and they said that no leaks were apparent but they would suggest that I visit a transmission business to have a part rethreaded...and then return maybe with the receipt of the work and discuss with the manager, named Eric. I did not visit the recommended transmission place but rather took the car to a general mechanic shop. They said the oil leak problem was that an aftermarket part was failing on the drain plug of the oil pan and that either a rethread could be attempted or the entire oil pan would have to be replaced. I have personally never touched this part of my car...and I have never had a problem with an oil leak from this Valvoline location until this month. The cost to repair this necessary part of the oil pan and/or the drain plug will cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a $1000. When I approached the designated manager on site at Valvoline, Eric, he stated he did not have any business cards with his name on them and he handed me a business card with the names of two people who were no longer working at that location. He could not tell me who owned the franchise or whether it was a corporate store or a franchise store. He said he would have to inspect the car and fill out a report to create a claim for reimbursement of the funds to repair the leaking oil pan. The whole experience was upsetting because no one was stepping up to admit the damage to the oil pan from the recent oil change...except the guy who recommended I visit the transmission shop for a rethread of a part...after they stated that nothing was leaking. More than two quarts of oil has drained out underneath my car. I have been having my cars serviced at this location for 30 years without a problem....but this experience will not only potentially be expensive for me....but also challenging because I could not understand who was truly in charge of running this business. Eric wrote the name and number of another person I should call...no business card for this guy either. I went to the website of Valvoline and could not determine who was in charge of this location....and no hierarchy of corporate infrastructure management contact info was supplied at the website. This expensive damage to my car will not happen in the future if I choose to carefully do my own oil changes or I bring it to another business that will promise to admit error, apologize and fix the damage. I am sorry to have to write this review but maybe we all should learn how to change our own oil so we can reduce exposure for expensive damage. I returned to this Valvoline location and handed Eric a copy of the bill from the mechanic's shop...It cost over $600 to replace the oil pan...I gave him the paperwork so that he had a tangible record for submitting any claim. In my opinion....good business practice....would be for the manager to reimburse the cost....and keep the customer relationship intact. He said he needed to protect his employees...and I said that he also needed to protect the customer...because without the customer....the funds can not be generated to pay the employee.

Great, prompt, respectful, quality service. Everyone was super helpful and genuinely nice people trying to do a great job. Eric and the whole team made sure I knew what was happening and why they were making the decisions they made. This was my 1st oil change for our Mercedes sprinter van in the montrose area, and I’m glad it went well. We will be back!

I couldn't be happier. What a great find. Best customer service I've ever seen and great team work makes for honest, fast and efficient work. Convenient right next to City Market you just pull in and stay in your car. The tech goes thru questions as the team works and they are so detailed. There also all synced up with carfax. They knew exactly when my air filters were replaced and there replacement cost was a fraction of the dealership. Wednesday is also ladies day fir $10 off.

The man who helped me was extremely upbeat and thoughtful. I had some worries about my oil and he was happy to check it out and answer the many questions I had! I also had a problem with another company not returning a part after an oil change, so I was happy to hear him yell off all the last checks he did to make sure he was leaving the engine as it should be!
