This is for Optum Urgent Care Monument. I was treated for bronchitis and given an antibiotic. I cautioned the PA that I did not tolerate antibiotics well and was very clear as to why. Out of 3 options I am prescribed the one that is the most corrosive to the digestive track. Not to mention I was over prescribed! Does any medical practitioner ever bother anymore to listen to what the patient is telling them? I am devastated, it has taken me over a year to get here digestively just to have it tossed away. It wasn't even busy in the urgent care.. is this why? Negligence

Been twice and both experiences were bad through two different physicians. Definitely avoid if possible. Unorganized, and when I gave feedback no one contacted me further. Obviously just another number.

Billing is the issue. I am being charged the price of a specialist for a primary care visit. Additionally, Optum Monument is charging for all the standard tests for the annual wellness visit, which by law is covered by all ACA-compliant insurance. Repeated calls and appeals have been turned down. While the employees at the front desk agree that I am being billed incorrectly, Optum internal billing denies appeals, provides no reason, and is now threatening collections. This is arbitrary and extremely unethical (illegal?).

Arrive 15 minutes early for routine Wellness exam. 30 min wait in lobby, 20 min wait in exams rm. 10 Min with PA. Ugh!

Made an appointment for a Women’s Wellness visit- (which was supposed to be covered at 100 percent with my insurance) went in for my appointment with the nurse practitioner- she talked to me for maybe 10 minutes- asked me a few questions and I never got an examination- a month later I received a $363 bill for a 30 minute outpatient visit..this is not what I scheduled- I have tried to reach out to the billing dept several times and nothing has been resolved. Today I received a final notice bill for an appointment I didn’t schedule. Not one person has reached out to me to resolve this issue regardless of my attempts to fix this.

Place is a joke. Front desk person couldn’t figure out if my health insurance was in their network or not and I waited for almost an hour for nothing. Complete waste of time.

We've been with Dr. Foote for over ten years. She and her PA is amazing. However, since they moved to the new Optum location off Jackson Creek, the office staff at Optum is below par. Had a similar experience with office staff since a primary care physician retired. They are not organized, and treat you horribly when you call attention to the mistakes. Accountability and customer service needs desperate attention. Bottom line is the money we pay in insurance premiums and out of pocket contributes to their salary. Patients don't deserve flippant treatment. Customer service is key to making a business successful - they've missed the mark over a dozen times in our household. There's a reason they are at 2.5 star review - it's not one upset patient, it's many with valid concerns on customer service. I'm sure there will be yet another "I'm sorry, please contact our office response". Making arrangements for our family to move over to Centura Health group.

I received an email advising that if I went to the doctor before the end of the year I would receive a $25 gift card. I did go in on 11/30/22 and saw the doctor and asked about the gift card. Front desk said she would call me back after checking. I called the next day and was told the same thing. Never got the call.

I am sorry to say I had a similar experience with Rebecca yesterday.I needed an EKG for a surgery but since I hadn't been there in 4 years (Dr. Solano previously and wasn't returning because of him) the nurse let me know I would be a NEW patient...more fees.Rebecca was a "crabby " person didn't ask me what kind of surgery I was having but asked me immediately about my exercise and had that" lecturing me" look . I informed her that she was not clearing me for surgery but my Plastic Surgeon was and she left the room in a small huff.Needless to say , this is not the care or relationship anyone wants with a provider and if this had been pleasant (at all) I would have returned. I am not sure what message you are sending to these Dr.'s and PA's but I have had 2 that I would never make another appointment with..That should make you think hard about the care we are receiving

These folks are really clowns. I just moved to CO and needed a new health care provider. I called to see a new doctor and they said it would take a month. I mentioned that I was low on my meds and the phone person said there was a cancelation at the end of the week at 10:30 AM. I got there a half hour early as requested and the desk person said my appointment was a week later at 1:30 PM. I told them that if I did not get my meds I was at risk of having a seizure. She was kind enough to ask if the doctor could see me, but he said no. I said I would sue Optum if I had a seizure.... today the office mgr called me and said they would not see me ever because I threatened them- she said the Dr did not feel comfortable because I threatened him... I guess his last name is Optum? Anyway, if you are looking for a doctor that is a snowflake and thinks everything they do is OK with everyone & the feelings of the doctors are more important than your health , stop in and get an appointment.

Optum in Monument, is a very chaotic place! I have nothing against the new staff (doctor's etc) it's just not as reassuring (as it was when it was Davita) that anyone knows what their doing. Interesting that this negative atmosphere began to appear, not long before Optum took over, however at the time I did not know of the major changes in ownership that was occuring.

Rude desk and nurse staff. Saw them turn someone away because they hadn't arrived for the appointment 15 minutes early. Then the nurse tried to push shots on us when we weren't even there for immunizations. Then a nurse interrupted while we were seeing the doctor to let the doctor know the next appointment had arrived. It's clear by watching them operate today that Optum is trying to get as many patients through in a day as they can, and numbers matter more than actually taking care of people. The doctors do seem to care about patients but the way Optum operates makes it difficult for the doctors to do a good job.

I had higher expectations for this Optum office, but was extremely disappointed with their level of performance. Trying to communicate with this office is very tiresome and frustrating! In addition the snarky attitude of the staff is what you would expect to get from a typical DMV. Trying to get prescriptions is a whole other hassle altogether. The PA(Rebecca Gurule) they assigned to me had the nastiest disposition as well. I hope they never let her become an actual MD. My advice to anyone reading these reviews is to just move on and find another provider that actually cares about treating people and their medical issues.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in for help with my hip which is severe to the point where I struggle to walk, and saw Dr.Solano. He just gave me pain medicine and when I asked for a referral to physical therapy he said no. He has done absolutely nothing for me and has made it blatantly obvious he couldn't care less about my well being. Worst care I have ever received please for the love of god don't go here.

Regarding Rebecca Gurule, my husband had an appointment for a referral, my husband is 69 years old and permanently disabled from a nerve disorder and other health issues, Ms. Gurule berated him for using a wheelchair, this woman is very unprofessional, I don't believe she should see elderly patients, my husband was very upset by the way he was treated.
