Safeway Pharmacy is a fine pharmacy that gets the job done. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, helpful, and empathetic. Prescriptions are filled immediately and in a timely manner. The pharmacy provides a discount card and participates in the GoodRx program, which can make prescriptions way cheaper than insurance. They accept most forms of insurance. Services include flu vaccinations, shingles shots, back-to-school vaccines, safe drug disposal, and filling pet prescriptions. While most of the staff is awesome and friendly, one individual can make customers feel like they are bothering him. Overall, it is a very good pharmacy and an improvement over other chains. Many customers wish they could use it on a regular basis.
Pharmacist and tech on 08/30/25 were both very efficient and kind to my situation, were able to get my RX filled after the Walgreens across the street dropped the ball. (I used to be a pharmacy technician, both inpatient and CVS retail - and I felt they did a great job at communicating and showing consideration to my situation.)

Friendly staff, but one pharmacist here has miscalculated my prescription fill twice now. Be cautious if you go here!
