About Smiths Dog Lodge
Smiths Dog Lodge is a family-owned, home-based dog care service offering daycare and boarding. Located on the West side of Monument, their 1.5-acre natural terrain park is perfect for dogs of all ages, sizes, and levels of physical ability. The whole place is set up for the benefit of the dogs, with a play yard and a field to run in. Socialization and exercise are the focus. Dogs have their own kennel with their bed and are on a routine of play, being fed, and naptime, just like home. They receive daily walks or runs, playtime, rest, nutrition, and love. Dogs are screened so they all fit in with the pack for playtime. Owners report their dogs are happy, healthy, calm, and have zero anxiety when picked up. The care provides wonderful peace of mind, and many dogs are excited to visit. The environment is warm and fun, and communication is easy and prompt. It is a fantastic place, especially for large breeds with lots of space to roam. Many customers have used their services for years and highly recommend them, feeling comfortable and reassured leaving their dogs there.

We have been taking our Black and tan Coonhounds to Smith's Dog Lodge for over two years. Nancy, James, and the whole staff are fantastic! The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful, large, and significant for dogs to run around.

This was the first time we boarded our 1 year old golden doodle overnight. Oakley had such a great time playing with the other dogs and was well taken care of by the staff at Smiths. They were also very accommodating. We picked up Oakley and she was happy, relaxed and definitely had plenty of exercise. Highly recommend!
