Really loved visiting this hidden gem! We are visiting family in the area and I'm a big theme park aficionado so my sister-in-law recommended checking it out. So glad we did! It's a 1917 Looff and really quite darling. The volunteers working there were knowledgeable about the history of the carousel and friendly too. We rode for $3/person. Had to get on the zebra. So many unique and cool carved animals! There's a cute little gift shop where you can get a fun souvenir and support the carousel upkeep. Little things like pins, patches, stickers, t-shirts. Bathrooms were clean and well-kept. Upstairs there is an overlook to watch when the carousel runs, as well as a cute puppet theatre with a full chest of plushies to choose from, and many kid's books.

You’ve got to go! Adorable, and a great value this beautiful quirky Carousel is as unique as Ned. We loved it. Note an extra cool feature is a viewing gallery from above with a fun puppet theater area

A must-stop along Peak to Peak highway. Worth every penny of $3 it costs to ride, and not just for kids! Wonderful backstory behind the renovation of the carousel and the carving of the animals--no spoilers here, but be prepared to be moved by the story. Let your inner child emerge, ride, and be happy!

We’re local to the area and always make it a point to bring our guests to ride the carousel. We absolutely love the place and generally have a good experience but this evening at 4:45pm on 8/26, the lady working the ticket counter was extremely rude. We were on the last ride and were attempting to buy shirts on our way out (10-15 minutes prior to closing time). We were turned away and told multiple times that she was counting the drawer and we needed to leave. I was very disappointed and embarrassed for the guest be brought. The vibe of the place is supposed to be happiness, not hatefulness and rudeness. Hate that we had this bad experience. We miss Burt!!

A super nice, old carousel made of wood. They are really great figures and you pay $3 for a ticket, which is absolutely fine. The ride is great fun, you only saw smiling faces. The carousel is definitely worth a visit!

No way this place can't get five stars. The Carousel is a magical delight for all ages. Beautifully hand carved pieces to ride. All made by a Viet Nam Vet. Anytime I am in Nederland, I have to stop and ridge the Carousel of Happiness. It delivers what is promises!

My absolute favorite place in the world. If you're lucky, you will get a good history lesson about the ride's history before you go. What an amazing story!
