Not delivering packages and making up untrue reasons for non delivery. Need to get their act together, I was home no deliver attempted, said they couldn’t access property I live on a residential street, no gates, no fences nothing but a driveway and a front door two regular cars in the driveway. Please explain why you couldn’t access the house. Nothing blocking access. And you cannot get through to anyone to understand what the problem is.

I'm extremely frustrated with the consistent delivery issues I've experienced with USPS in New Castle, CO 81647. Despite multiple orders, they refuse to deliver packages to my mailbox, parcel, or residence, instead requiring pickup at the post office.
Upon arrival, we're told the package is 'on route' and not yet available. By the end of the day, the package is still not delivered, and we're advised to pick it up. However, when we arrive at the post office, the package is nowhere to be found.
The staff claims they'll contact the driver and get back to us, but this leads to a cycle of unfulfilled promises. Eventually, they suggest filing a claim for a missing package, despite it being scanned as 'arrived.'
The packages in question are small, biscuit-can-sized containers holding worms for our orders. It's absurd that drivers refuse to deliver such a small package to our mailbox.
I believe USPS is not being truthful with merchants, claiming we never picked up packages when, in fact, they refused to deliver them. The lack of accountability and customer care is alarming, particularly given the long tenure of the staff.
The ongoing issue seems to have no solution, and I'm fed up with the runaround. I'm sharing my experience in the hopes that someone will take notice and take action to address this problem.

Visiting yesterday to buy postage stamps was a mistake. The lady was so unhappy and stressed out it was obvious she needs a new line of work. Why be so unhappy with a job your arms flail about and loudly about a customer there to buy stamps. Never again will I enter there. Go to Silt office from now on.

Can't believe the negative reviews for our PO in New Castle. Linda is a saint, and I could not do her job. And yes, they smile if you smile and are kind to them. Imagine doing what postal workers do on the daily. No thank you. THANK YOU LINDA AND TEAM!

Terrible customer service. the older lady in there definitely needs to go to some Human Relationships training on how to not let the stress of your job spill over to customers. After standing my ground on the status of my package a gentleman from the back finally came to help me and for that I am thankful. But the whole ordeal was super unnecessary and very uncomfortable.

The man with grey hair and earrings who works behind the counter provided horrible customer service. He seemed quite annoyed as soon as we approached him and didn't answer any of our questions. He had no patience at all and was also rude to the customer in front of us.

Friendly and goes out of their way to help with any issues. The one time there’s been a mistake they’ve gone out of their way to fix it and everything was worked out quickly. Worth the extra 15 min drive for me.

This post office is always losing our packages and has the worst customer services. Everything is an issue for them and the workers constantly have an attitude. I’m an adult, not a child, so I would appreciate you speaking to me like I am an adult. This Post Office needs some kindness and compassion. Just because you’re a government worker doesn’t mean you can treat others unkindly. Remember, you’re not above anyone.
