Terrible shop. Prices are high and quality of service is poor.

Poor customer service and the owner acts arrogant and disrespectful. Plus their food truck outside of the shop dumps its cooking oil all over the sidewalk and makes a mess of our community.

An absolute must is to get the full tune for your bike and cycling season at Niwot Wheel Works! Fernando is knowledgeable, profession and, a nice person! My bike has NEVER riden so smoothly and effortlessly. I was speechless my first day out on it! If I could rate them higher than a 5, I would. Take your bike in today! We all know, if we take care of our bike, it takes care of you! Thank you Fernando, it was a pleasure to meet you!

2 stars because I've had mixed service here. The first time, everything went as expected and I felt the price was reasonable. The second time I brought my bike in with specific requests and provided clear instruction as to my preferences. When I received my bike back, I discovered three separate issues within one week of riding: one of which was a lack of common sense (location chainring was mounted), another which made it evident that the bike wasn't tuned (gears skipping; not indexed properly), and a third issue resulting from the shop entirely disregarding a specific request I made (number of teeth on chainring).I called the shop to request that they correct these issues and the owner not only failed to acknowledge that errors were made, but was also firm that they would charge me again to correct their own mistakes ("we don't do service for free"). I decided to simply fix everything on my own, which I could have done in the first place, but genuinely wanted to give business to a local shop who I assumed could do a better job than me. I was wrong, and won't ever bring a bike here again.

We went for the Tuesday night trivia with other family members. Great atmosphere, really good food and the beer menu was also good. Go early as tables fill up quick.

Went on a Thursday with live music, the service was great and the people were super friendly. Was expecting a basic burger but it was so much better! Came with salty crunchy fingerling potatoes, two types of homemade sauces, and a light salad.Reasonably priced, free parking, and delicious! Highly recommend.

So this happened today…I ran over a piece of straight wire and my wheel sucked it up, spiraled it, broke my derailleur, derailleur hanger, and five spokes. My wheel was also totally out of true and no longer round. Thanks to Fernando at Niwot Wheel Works for fixing my bike, saving my wheel, and giving me a latte!

There might be bike shops closer to me, but I'll keep coming back to NWW whenever I have something beyond my skills/tools to address - Fernando and Eric have both been great to deal with on multiple occasions and with multiple bikes.

Took a relatively new bike in for a cleanup and tuneup. The technician, in presence of the owner, verbally quoted me $120 for the tuneup plus $30 for a new chain, for a total of $150. When I picked the bike up, the work was very nice, but the owner charged me $150 for the tuneup and $50 for the new chain, for a total of $200. Since nothing was in writing, I couldn't contest it. But I won't be back. All other bike shops I have used (as well as auto repair shops) give a written estimate for repair costs. Most have their rates posted. And, many other bike shops have different levels of service, depending on how much the bike needs. Perhaps Niwot Wheel Works should consider operating similarly.

Fernando is a Godsend, a true guardian angel who fixed my ebike after an ebike shop in Longmont that specialized in ebikes off Main Street incorrectly installed a bike tire that could’ve caused an accident. He showed me the problem and even identified and fixed a brake manufacturer design flaw that other bike shops who worked on my ebike in Longmont didn’t. He test rode my ebike to make sure everything was ok, which really increased my confidence. My ebike lifts my spirit and makes me feel better; so having it safe and working properly is a really big deal for me especially since I ride about 20-30 miles at a time and in rural areas. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Fernando and his helper at Niwot Wheel Works. I’m so grateful and pleased. Thank you so much!!! I’m a new lifelong fan and customer.
