I gave 1 star because I cant give a 0 rating. For anyone who reads this, please heed my words. Don't ever go to the CARSTAR Ideal Northglenn. They are a nightmare company. They had my car for 46 days to fix my moonroof from a break in. Excuse after excuse, to hearing nothing at all from them week after week. 46 days they had my car. 20 days past the date they said it would be ready. I'm telling everyone I possibly can don't give any of your business to this company, they truly don't deserve it.

Took my car in and after being in for an extended amount of time I had to be the communication between my insurance and the car star adjuster because he just wasn’t available or have any sense of concern about getting fly car done. I paid for additional work to get done outside of the claim, and when I picked up my car it wasn’t completed. There was damage done to the driver side of the hood and quarter panel that wasn’t there before. I left the auto body shop to get home and see it. Had to return to the shop to point the work I paid for wasn’t completed and there was more damage. The paint doesn’t match the original paint, and horrible paint job. Didn’t connect the back window defroster when they put it back in. So my defroster hasn’t worked since I picked it up. Spoke with Tracy the shop manager she promised work would get fixed that was five weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything. Save you money, frustrations, and disbelief for other places. This shop is horrible

DO NOT take your car here if you want work completed in a timely manner! My daughter was side swiped which caused some damage to the rear driver's side. The other driver's insurance was great and got the claim started right away. We dropped her car off on January 11th. The estimator rushed through the drop off and barely gave me time to discuss my concerns. That is the LAST TIME I spoke to anyone involved in the actual repairs. I called multiple times a week for updates and was assured each time (by the receptionist) that someone would call me back (including the manager) which never happened. I was finally able to pick the car up on February 20th after I CALLED THEM to see if it was done. I STILL don't know what was repaired and what was replaced as the invoice I received says repair/replace on EVERY item. If I knew what was actually done, I might be able to give more stars as the car seems to be good. Almost 6 weeks for a fender bender is not acceptable.

My car had to be towed in and the technicians did a fantastic job fixing everything, it looks great.The front office staff were also amazing, they were very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous informative and attentive.My dissatisfaction came from a girl who I was told is named Tracy. I believe she is someone who is in a managerial position as she took control of the situation when she came out to see what was going on with my car. She did not introduce herself or give her title before starting to take control of what was going on. She was very rude, disrespectful, condescending, extremely unprofessional, and the sole reason I would not return for future service nor would I recommend this CarStar to friends and family.

Horrible service my vehicle has been in their shop since November for just a rear bumper, it's now February and still not vehicle. They don't answer and when they do they hang up. When you do finally talk to someone again they have no knowledge of hanging up on you. I don't understand how it take this many months for a shop the specializes in body work yet can't get a rear bumper done let alone display any kind of professionalism. I do not recommend this shop to anybody go elsewhere if you want you vehicle back in a timely manner

This shop was recommended by one of there new staff members longtime friend of mine and I told her I will fallow her where ever she went do bringing in new business Thank you Laura for helping me and also kudos to May she was awesome smooth transition helped me with the appointment and bringing in my truck she also help me with my insurance and rental place for my rental Thank you May your amazing Thank you all from carstar ideal Northglenn you guys rock

Went for an appointment to get an estimate and waited 30 minutes before someone even asked if they could help me. I was told that they would write up the estimate and get it to me the next day. I had to call multiple times and finally received the estimate after a month. Needless to say I would not use carstar for my repair or recommend them.

I dropped my 2015 Corolla off for a new bumper on October 12th and as of November 14 got the car back. Would have liked to have not had to use a rental for so long. The repair job itself meets expectations.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I brought my car in for hail damage and it sat for the first FIVE WEEKS in the shop without repairs even being started. They claim it was because the $3,000 supplement they submitted didn’t get approved by my insurance for four weeks, but they already had an approved repair estimate in their hands worth $16,000 that should have been started in that time. There was nothing in my contract stating that they wouldn’t start repairs until a supplement was approved and the useless front-desk staff led me to believe that those original repairs had been started in that time. Because of this large delay, my rental car coverage of 50 days expired and I was forced to pay a grand total of $650 (plus $185 for tolls) out of my own pocket for the rental car for the last 3 weeks my car was still in the shop. I should also add that I finally had to go into the shop IN PERSON after those first five weeks to finally get answers because you can’t get any over the phone, and that’s when they showed me my car and I saw it had not been touched. The supplement had been approved a week earlier but they still hadn’t started the repairs at this point.I tried to go above Traci and speak to corporate to see if they would at least reimburse me for half of the rental cost since it was their fault and they said they spoke with the owner who told them under NO circumstances will they reimburse for rental cars. I was originally quoted a timeline of 3-4 weeks and my car was there for 10 whole weeks in the end. The shop is blaming my insurance, my insurance is blaming the shop, and I got shafted with this HUGE payment when I did quite literally nothing wrong. These people are rude, slow, and have NO care for their customer at the end of the day. I got screwed over and all they will offer me is that they will “use this experience in future trainings with their staff”. I will never come to this shop again and will warn everyone I know against it.Services: Painting

Carstar's assessment of our car's damage was highly inaccurate. We initially brought our vehicle in to address a car door issue, but their evaluation led to the car being declared totaled due to a minor incident involving the door being caught by the wind. Suspicion arises as they seemingly included additional repairs to justify totaling the car. When we tried to discuss this discrepancy with them, they were uncooperative and refused to address the issue. Be cautious when considering Carstar for your automotive needs.
