“I visited this place in the afternoon, it was legal night. The attention, kindness and especially availability to serve people was adequate. Very well organized.”
“Killing a little time before our house was ready to check into stopped here to look around. You do have to go down stairs or a paved path. Once you are down there you have a circular path to walk on. It goes around a lake. There are several spots to look over the lake the lake has turtles and ducks to watch. On the one side of the path are holes where the prairie dogs live. You can see them on guard or digging. It was a very nice park to walk around.Restrooms: They had some port potties along the pathPicnic area: There are picnic tables along the path”
“The National Western Stock Show is the largest stock show in the United States, and it is my personal favorite stock show I have been to. Saying it is large is a complete understatement. If you are into stock shows, livestock, cowboy/cowgirl Western lifestyle, then this is an absolute must visit for you. So many different events take place during the stock show. Great food and products vendors everywhere. The many rodeos held here are fantastic. My personal favorite has been the Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza.”
“Every one on staff was so sweet and kind during one of the hardest days of my life. I had to put my best friend to sleep and from the front desk, the dr, and everyone in between I felt so supported and they took such good care of my baby girl. “I can’t say enough good things about this organization. If you have dietary restrictions due to a medical issue and a doctor to sign off on the referral form, they are very helpful. It makes it so much easier to stick to your diet, particularly when others near you are eating something you can’t or shouldn’t eat. Having healthy, frozen meals brought to your door each week is a huge benefit. Not only is it free and convenient, it also provides some variety.”
“I like this food bank a lot.Good food and usually a steady process when I go.But when it's packed. Like people have to wait in the middle of the parking for a spot to open, packed. People do this to save their "fancy" car. This is the 3rd peak time I've seen this happen.Do better visitors.”
“What an incredibly organization! I have been enjoying their greenhouse events for yearsbut it wasn't until I had a newborn in March during covid that I signed up for their boxes. They have been a LIFE SAVER! They include fresh local eggs and produce, amazing bread and even other pantry staples. I have only needed to order groceries twice in 5 months thanks to their delivery. I just wanted to say thank you for helping this little family out during a difficult summer. This is honestly only the tip of the iceberg too... read their mission and how they're helping other families in need. We love GrowHaus!”

“The best way to get kids engaged in live classical music. I wish they had this in NY. We went with our kids and our niece to the Boetctcher concert hall in downtown Denver. The trumpet player let our daughter actually push the keys down while she played notes. What a great concept. The orchestra was amazing and the narration was engaging.”

“Got so much food for me and my kids. Was fairly quick to. I made an appointment and trust me it’s worth it. You have to make a profile and sign up for a appointment time or you can do walk ins on certain days go to website to find that info but I’m glad I made the appointment instead of walk in. Also went thru the thrift store got some clothes for all of us and we made Easter baskets kids was so happy to get that candy and toys I just let them go crazy when we got home lol we literally didn’t even eat breakfast because we had no food but God made a way thru Joyful Journey food pantry thank you! I’ll be forever grateful. Got allot of pull ups and a pack of wipes as well!”

“I don't know where I would be if it weren't for the crossing. Me and my two boys had our own room 3 meals a day. I met wonderful people that I'm still friends with to this day. I was in a two-year program but was able to move out in a year. Thank you Denver Rescue Mission.”
“I went there in extreme pain after leaving Good Samaritans emergency room for them being rude and not helping me while I was in horrible pain and they helped me right away im grateful because I was at the point of passing out and the other hospital refused to help me while they helped me right away.”

“My friend's father passed away and we had to donate all of his clothing, shoes, and misc items. We were in a hurry to get going and one employee at the Donation Drop-Off was right there to help unload the pick-up truck full of bagged items. I didn't get the male Hispanic employee's name, but would like to thank him for sensing that we were grieving, lost, and in a hurry. He helped us in so many ways and was very touched by his compassion. Thank you and until we meet again.”
