I tried to return an item that was purchased for my home by a contractor. I had the receipt. I had the item. It was unopened and able to be easily re-sold and used again, totally undamaged, even the packaging was pristine. I'm sure it's already back on the shelf being bought tomorrow by the next guy.I've already paid the contractor for this item.Any party can cut ties with a contractor for any reason. There are many situations that might call for someone to need to recover funds after a severance from a worker in their home.1. I was told the item can only be returned to the card he used to purchase the item.(It's not my fault he didn't use the cash I gave him to purchase this item)2. They would not even give me store credit.Tell me what reason there can be for refusing to return funds to a new payment method when the purchase was well over any possible payment rejection for the original purchase.Tell me why you could not give in store credit for funds you have already acquired. This is nonsensical. It can't hurt you in any way.I will never shop at Lowe's ever again because of this. Terrible customer service. Terrible policy. Figure out what every other shopping establishment has figured out. Grow up with the times.

Seriously one of the most disorganized Lowe’s locations I have ever been to. So many store associates running around but yet can’t find anyone to assist me finding what I need. Then when I find someone, they give me an aisle and bay that have the completely wrong items. What a frustrating experience!

Disappointed went to buy the top portion of my tool box looked up the hours online to CONFIRM I WASN’T WASTING MY TIME AND GAS OK CLOSES AT 10 pm arrived at 5 after 9 to locked doors the same doors that say the hours are up until 10 pm smh i was already on the fence i think I’ll just hold off on that

Bought a washer dryer here. Got the extended warranty, the washer dryer has barely lasted a year before breaking. Don't buy the extended warranty they people who fix it don't know anything and take months to do a short repair. Lowe's won't help, it's a scam. Home depot is way better

Ok, I'm done with Lowe's. Came to return vanity light fixtures. They won't take them - longer than 90 days. No store credit, no nothing. Time to dump these tight A's. Remodeling a bathroom - my second one in my current place. I'm a DIY-er. Over the years I've split my business between Home Depot and Lowe's. Tens of thousands of dollars to each. Refrigerators, dishwashers, plywood, framing lumber, drywall, hot water heaters, ducting, carpet, countertop tops, sinks, copper pipe, the list goes on. Now these efffers are gonna play gotcha on a vanity light? This is about the 3rd smarmy gotcha policy they got me on, and it's the final straw. The competition is over, and Home Depot won. Good bye Lowe's. I'm sure you'll lose the rest of the market share soon.

Came in to get a couple things and see about a project I will be working on. So far, out of all the employees I have encountered, one person acknowledged me. Everything is well maintained and clean here. I just opened a business account and was trying to find out how to use it at the register. I didn't get much help there either.

It is so difficult to find the items you need in this store! I needed a hinge for a cabinet, I found the aisle where these are supposed to be. After looking through the hinges, the hinge I needed wasn't there. I continued shopping for other items I needed and low and behold I found the hinge I needed on a back end display. During my search, I saw no employee to ask for assistance. There is no personal contact unless you want to stand in line to check out. I'll spend more money at Ace Hardware where you get assistance from a knowledgeable individual.

I went during a week night and it was quiet with great, friendly and helpful staff. I used the website to locate items in the store and for the most part they weren't accurate.

I've always gotten good service and found what I needed. I frequent Home Depot but have found that if Home Depot is out you can almost always find it here.
