For starters- they haven’t had functioning bathrooms men or women for almost 2 months and still don’t and won’t offer there employee bathroom in the meantime.Second- it took the store almost 2 months alone just to order a new hat steamer to shape your hats.

Went in thinking they’d might have snow boots. They didn’t but hubby was able to get shirts he needed (he’s super picky). And a belt. The worker helped him for a long time finding him just the right belt. Very happy will be back! Super nice.

Honestly, I do not think I have been to this location since it was Sheplers, so it has been a loooong while. I went in a couple weeks ago to get a hat. I am working a booth at Stock Show and would like to have a nice hat for my booth. So I walk in and wait patiently as the hat person is helping another customer. The customer walks away, I step up a couple steps thinking the person will acknowledge me. Nope, he walks over talks to someone else, comes back to his bench, looks up and asks if I needed help. I say, yes, I need to get a hat, preferably gray.First thing out of his mouth is "there are racks over there with lots of hats" [on them]. I look over, the majority are cheap straw hats, (I was looking for a gray felt hat as I had previously mentioned). I look back at him and say, what about the hats behind you (on the wall)? He draws an imaginary line across and says kind of matter-of-factly "everything below this line is $80. I just kind of stared blankly, not sure why he said it that way or why I was supposed to care. I asked if I could try some on?He asks my size (which to be honest, I havent worn a cowboy hat in about 20 years, so I cannot remember my head measurement) and I tell him I am not sure, from what I remember it was one of the bigger ones. He tells me they max out at 7 & 3/4. Okay... I was honestly thinking he would have a string measurement of some sort to measure my head, but no such luck, I said, can we try the biggest? He says Try this one, (7 & 1/2) I put it on, wont even go down. Without blinking or looking elsewhere, he says if that doesnt fit, you are out of luck, we can order you a hat, it will be here in 3-4 weeks... nobody will have hats that large. And so I left. Not sure if he had larger hats of the nicer variety or not we never got above his imaginary line on the wall.--------I feel like the week before Stock Show, a Western Retailer would stock up on products for an influx of people from around the world that might be shopping there... but what do I know. And the way that he said nobody would have hats that large, I was kind of shocked. My head has been (as I figured out later) 7 & 5/8 for the last 25+ years... when I wore cowboy hats as a teenager, I never had an issue finding hats my size.-------Coincidentally, I ventured over to High Country Western Wear in Arvada last Friday after calling them... they had plenty of my size and larger in stock. Sales person was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back there for any of my Western apparel needs (which probably wont be much, because I aint been to the Rose in at least 10 years, so not much need for dressing up, but if there is a need, then yeah...)TL:DR - Boot Barn hat guy was rude, said I couldnt get a large hat anywhere for at least 3-4weeks. Seemed to imply I could not afford a nice cowboy hat.--Went elsewhere, bought a nice Stetson in my size with no issues.

My son wanted a specific belt buckle and belt to match his boots. When it wasn't in stock at the first location, the sales associate helping us logged into the system and found it at another location and was able to place it on hold. They have a wonderful selection of clothing and are extremely knowledgeable. I don't doubt that we will be return customers.

I'm from Arizona I spend a lot of time and money at Boot Barn. I've never once had an experience like this A women named Renee I believe is the manager was walking up to me and my party every 2 minutes telling us we couldn't touch certain things couldn't hold items etc. She then walked to the cash register area and stood there and just watched/ stared at us the entire time of shopping. Horrible environment i would never spend money here and to feel like that. Even after all of this i still spent 300+ dollars at this store and to be treated like this was outrageous keep in mind i'm in a full cinch outfit with a 200$ buckle on i highly recommend spending your money at another location.

Ellie was great! Good service, very respectful! Chris was awesome when showing us the boots!I wanted to take a moment to highlight a FABULOUS young lady I spoke with on the phone, her name was Bonita(hope I spelled that right) ? But she was exceptionally helpful, sweet, courteous! I could go on and on! Now this store has hands down the BEST STAFF IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! Keep it up boot barn! You’re doing amazing!

NEVER shop at Boot Barn. I'd give it zero stars, but this program makes me give it at least 1 star. Facts- I went to buy a specific brand of purse that their website said they carried. I get there and they do not keep any in the store. They pointed me to their in-house computer to get on their website and order/pay for the purse I wanted. Their computer said this purse was around $360. I came on that day because they were having 25% off. I ordered online in the store on their computer and paid. Less the 25%, it came down to about $273 (and some change). I get the purse shipped to me. It came and there was a price tag on the purse of $248. I got on the manufacturer's website. They had MSRP at $248. What?? I drove back to the store with my box/purse. I told them the above. The shift/floor Supervisor/Manager came to the front counter, called their by the cash register clerk. The Supervisor told me that Boot Barn can charge what they want and may sometimes go over MSRP. I then said, 'but the price tag from Boot Barn is $248 on the purse'. She then told me that was their mistake that they should have repriced it before sending to me. What?? I then said 'so you were knowingly charging more than $95 dollars from MSRP?'. I could not get any admittance from the store that they were pulling the wool over my/customer's eyes. Did not even offer to make it right. I just returned the purse and will buy it from somewhere honest. Imagine how many other people are being scammed and don't pay attention after-the-fact.

Pso update... Boot Barn after investigating the incident, paid for all medical services. I posted this too soon, Boot Barn refused o pay squat sent o their investigation team, who shocking spoke to us never except to say, were not paying anything.. so apparently POS organization,. Caution do get injured here for any cause because they will deny any responsibility.

Over all I had a really good experience with the people helping out in the boot section of the store , the guys were really nice besides when we got to the cashier the lady that attended she had long curly hair , tall ,chubby she didn’t greet us horrible costumer service she had attitude wasn’t really much help , credits to this tall guy with braces and he had on a Dark blue dress up shirt he spoke Spanish as well he was a lot of helped he checked up on us every once in a while
