We came here to get our dog a bath, nails trimmed, and teeth brushed. Upon arrival our dog was slightly scared(tail between the legs), as she is every time she gets a bath. The girl at the desk scolded us saying our dog needs to get groomed once a month so she's comfortable and that 'she would try her best' to groom our dog. We've bathed our dog ourselves every month since we got her, doesn't change that she hates baths. She had a poor attitude and we left to groom our dog ourselves. We won't be back here, even for shopping, ever again.Also they quoted 4 hours for these few tasks. With the respiratory virus going around that's insane! So they don't do nose to nose contact. From what I've heard this virus is super contagious and just smelling the same thing another dog sniffed could infect them!!

Grooming always asking for paperwork they already have. Two different accounts to book somehow. Got turned away because dog is on medication. Even with vets note they wouldn't take my dog. Uneducated, uninformed staff and overpriced.

Just purchased 4 fish and 3 of the 4 died in 2 days. I'm a very experienced fish owner my entire life. The manager at the store refused to refund my money even though I abided by their Petco policy and provided pictures of the dead fish. They told me I need to bring the dead fish in and the third one just died so I will be bringing a dead fish to the store. Terrible customer service. Terrible company to not even abide by their own stated policies. Just terrible.

If I could give zero stars I would. A couple weeks ago I bought a Pleco and some gold inca snails. within a week the pleco was dead, all my other fish and the snails were fine, nothing wrong with my water. I took the dead pleco back, could not find my receipt, but since they have my phone# and could easily look up the transaction I didn't think it was a big deal, Apparently it was a big deal, I decided to let that go and get a few more snails and a couple shrimp. The gal that helped me didn't normally work that department I didn't know what she was doing, instead of getting assistance from another employee, she just did I guess the best she could do, she seriously manhandled the poor little critters, I told myself that I would be surprised if they made it home. They did, but a few days later, all dead, again, the rest of my fish are just fine. I even told the cashier to keep the receipt because I would not be back. So I am out the money for 1 fish, 2 snails and 2 shrimp.I made the mistake of going back there after another incident that really angered me a couple years ago, My bad. I was looking for something for my dog, checked the website to see if they had it, checked the price online and was okay with it. go to the store to get it since I wanted it right away instead of waiting for shipping. I get there, find it and see that it is $60 more than online!! I checked the SKU, yup exact same item, showed them my phone with their own website and the item and they refused to honor the online price, so they punish those that actually go into the store. Obviously I did not buy it there.I will never ever go back into that store again, It's always filthy and the employees just don't care. I get the whole working their wage thing, but this was all ridiculous.

The store on 120th and Washington Ave has the worst customer service and some really sick fish. Bought four fish last week and all were dead within 5 days. They refused to refund my money.My tank is well taken care of and established. My existing fish have also died now (within three days of the death of the last new fish). The new fish were the only change in the environment.Also note, a thorough acclamation was done with the new fish to support temperature and water adjustments.

Small store, filthy, and won't let you use the bathroom as a paying customer. They claim it's because of the Colorado health department says they don't have to. However, the other Petco stores in Colorado allow customers to use the bathroom. Customer service is not the priority here at this store.

The Manager was rude and the employees were uneducated. The tanks had several dead fish and were filthy. I would NEVER shop this store again. We went to Petsmart and got everything we needed. Go To Petsmart before you waste your time here!!

This Petco location is always clean and well stocked-I always find what I'm looking for here. The employees are helpful whenever you have a question or need help to find a product. They also give my dog treats at the check out stand which she loves. Lines can get long sometimes because there is usually only 1 employee working at the registers

Worst f****** experience ever. Im so furious. Brought my two year old on Sunday 11/13/22 to get a couple of fish. When i walked in it was disorganized and took over 30 mins to get help. When i finally did. The so called "manager" the little girl with purple hair was rude and short with me and my wife about some fish and our tank size then suggested some dying fish near the front. Um No its my money and i want four minoe that only grow up to two and a half inches or at least that's what the sign said. Any way after paying for them she refused to give them to us saying or tank was to small not even asking a gallon size. All she had to do was scoop up 4 fish and we would have left. But her excuse was it tank wasn't conditioned. All while selling some white people a BRAND NEW UNCONDITIONED TANK AND FISH. Smh. Huh that's weird she just told us mexican people that we couldn't do that. So disappointed in petcos customer service and if that's who you have representing your business you might want to rethink your marketing plan cause i am blasting this every where until it is corrected. #petco #badcutomerservice #whiteamerikkka. Very friendly staff. They matched the online price for me for the item that I picked up for my dog which was great. I was happy they had it as it was a last minute need.
