Joel started there and was there for a week. A family member was killed. We had to go. They did not give us the paper work for all the things Joel paid for. These guys are just as crooked as the rest of them. .65 pm loaded from Google not your actual miles and .35 pm for dead head. And again google miles not your exact miles. Drivers be aware of this company.

Refused to let their driver go home to bring his father home from the hospital to die, then kept his last paycheck when he refused the load and returned the truck to their yard to go be with his dad.

Yeah they say they care about there drivers.They don't they wanted to send me to Alabama with no sleeper AC when my truck was already in the shop. They think there Dispatcher runs your clock and not the driverThey will look for things to charge you forThey are so about protecting themselves that they are crookedAnd they will leave you stranded when you quit not allowed to smoke or keep oil or antifreeze in side boxes there all about there own moneyThey don't give a darn about your life

I've read some of these reviews. I worked for Phillip as an owner operator. Have nothing but respect for him and his company. I would still be there if I wasn't so bullheaded. If you had a bad time with them, then it's your fault.

Philip Sims Trucking had 3 weeks to haul a timely delivery for me and backed out on the last day, and Wright’s Trucking was able to come the next afternoon and haul it for 40% cheaper. Drivers are nice at Phillip Sims, but thats the only positive about this company. Horrible communication in the office, you are left in the dark about everything unless you constantly hound them. Do yourself a favor if you need anything hauled, and call Kent Wright at Wright’s Trucking in Sidney, NE.

Don’t believe the good reviews left by the bootlicking employees. From a distance this place would appear to be a decent company but I can tell you first hand that they are everything but that. The equipment they use is very well ran into the ground and the owner will throw a fit any time a breakdown happens. The owner himself is not very honest so if one was to work here or drive for this company just keep a real good eye on your pay. They won’t get you home when you need to get home and they will ask you to run illegal! Also you will never see your last check unless you take it up with the Colorado Department of Labor.

Smaller, family-owned, wonderful company. I found the staff to be honest, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable/willing to teach individuals with a desire to learn. They specialize in flatbed, step-deck, heavy haul, and livestock operations. The owner of the company and most of the staff are also drivers. Not only does the owner want things done safely and properly, he’s more than willing to get out there and show you how to do it right, because he still does it himself, full-time, sunshine or blizzard. Company driver and owner/operator friendly.

Philip Sims Trucking takes care of their employees. my husband and I started team driving for Philip Sims Trucking on February 27, 2012. I have since gone into the office and have now been with them for 7 years. Many more to come. Thank you for all you do for your employees.
