Car Wash
“I used the do-it-yourself carwash, not the automatic one. I learned in New Mexico that automatic carwashes do virtually nothing to get the grime off. Now I know I have to get out of the car and use some elbow grease.
I used quarters I already had, so I'm not sure if this place has a change machine.
You have to put in $4 just to get the cleaning party started. I used more than just $4 to get my car clean. My car was really dirty.
I started with the high pressure rinse. It really was high pressure. The water came out hard and really did a good job spraying on dried on mud that had been on my car for almost a week. The water was warm/hot too.
After I'd sprayed the whole car really well, I used the foaming brush. There was copious foam, and I really scrubbed with the brush. That's what got any caked on mud off.
I followed up with more high powered rinsing, and the car came out looking pretty good. I wish I had spent a dollar more and really scrubbed the windshield and back windows, but c'EST la vie.
Overall, I was happy with the Cowboy Car Wash and what I accomplished there.”
“Spot on!...err...OFF rather. Yeah, spots off for sure. The new owners & upgraded touchless are spectacular. It even got my wheels clean! This is a unique phenomenon in Pagosa for Sure. It will be my go-to from now on.”
