Terrible customer service. Talked us around in circles and made us wait a week for a quote that the sales person said they had, we called again and the awful person answering the phone said they hadn't ever heard of the product ... I don't know who this company is hiring but they're all terrible. Go somewhere that doesn't waste your time and wants your money.

Service is awful... must be ready to wait over extended periods of time.. Guys at office wont care if you wait over an hour for a piece of lumber.. We waited about 1- 1 1/2 for a trim piece. Had to ho over the office couple times to ask what was happening whit the order....

I had these guys deliver 4 pieces of decking material, I ended up going a different route and asked them to pick it up for a return. I fully expected a pickup fee however I was charged a pickup fee PLUS a 25% restocking fee!! They said it was "special order" however that was not mentioned when purchasing and it was not "ordered" it was transferred from their other store. This is ridiculous for something they are just gonna turn around and resell anyway. This isn't an electronic item that was opened and you can tell it was not a brand new, This is a couple pieces of wood that they store outside! Terrible business

Really unfortunate trip to The Parker location. I’m not a contractor just a diy home owner looking to refresh an existing deck, showed up looking to compare materials and pricing and get some advise on what to order. Was hoping to order what I needed today! Doors are locked ( I believe due to social distancing which is fine) so I called the number posted on door, as 4 employees watched me through the glass stand there and pull out my phone. Expressed that I needed assistance and would like to place an order, was told that there is no one there to assist with loading. Informed that I would like delivery since I needed some larger pieces (16’ plus) so not an issue. Was rudely told that delivery was out for roughly 5 business days, and really trying to make it seem like he didn’t want the sale. When I said that delivery date would be fine and asked if I could look at some samples and pricing I was told that he doesn’t know any pricing due to the change in the market recently and that the only way to get pricing is to email a product list. I reiterated that I’m just a diyer and wouldn’t know exactly what to email and that if they don’t want my business I’ll take it elsewhere. Unfortunate, seems like a business many people would like to do business with, conveniently located, employee owned. But their website clearly is wrong when it states that front counter personal are willing to deal with walk in home owners.

Absolutely rude customer service. Derrick had zero desire to help us place our order and three other employees literally turned the other way when my husband was at the door wanting to place an order. Do not bother with this lumbar yard.

I needed a few Trex deck boards and Alpine Lumber came to my rescue. I will definitely be ordering from them for my future remodeling needs. They were able to get the product in whereas the other big box stores I contacted said the items were backordered for several weeks (or didn't know when/if the items would return to stock). My representative was Kelsea, and she was amazing. Even though my order was small, she always responded to my text within a few minutes (she's a texting guru:). Picking up the product was quick and easy. The transaction was seamless. When I picked up the product, I had a chance to meet Kelsea, and she's as delightful in person as she is over the phone and over text. Kudos to Alpine Lumber and Kelsea.

Sort of a small fish/big pond situation if you are a retail customer. The lumber we received was bowed, bent, cracked and damaged beyond belief. Their return/exchange “policy”!7/ far from convenient, so we were stuck. We actually had to change the dimensions of our product because so much was unusable. Probably worth looking elsewhere unless you are a contractor or have transportation and can ditch their delivery.

Do not do any business with this lumber yard. I have been doing business with them even when they were over there on Parker road for probably 30 years. And now they only sell to the Is track builders. Stay away I'm sure the owner must be a Is democrat Is a small company's must stay together is there and even when they start getting more material do not buy from them they're on they're only for the big boys that that is so sad that a company would run themselves in the ground like that

Very inconsistent communication and lack of professionalism. Every time I called this place I received very different information and employees would list off who they thought I talked to previously so they could throw that person under the bus for the incorrect information. The lumber yard itself is disorganized and forget asking if they know what they have because what one person says won't match what another one says and definitely won't match what's in the yard. Either way, I found something, asked for a price, built an estimate around that pricing, got it approved, called literally the next business day and the price was 50% more. They argued it was COVID. I've been running my construction business through COVID also and never once has a cost of supply gone up 50% in one business day. There is a shortage though and so I paid the difference at my own profit loss and they did not care at all, threw someone else under the bus obviously. Oh and the price they actually charged me was higher than what they said they were charging me on top of that. Didn't stop there though because why would it? They gave my contractor who I sent to pick it up grief too saying we needed an order number they never gave me. I wonder whose fault that was? Haha. Sounds to me like everyone needs to get fired or retrained, no one here knows what's going on.

All the staff is always so nice. Great selection, customer service and pricing. Better than any big box store.
