Bizarre and far from comforting experience. The front desk girl with the short curly hair shouldn’t be a receptionist for an emergency room. She was neither calm nor quick under pressure in the emergency situation and once my dog was taken back she told me I hurt her feelings with the way I talked. I came in crying hysterically because my dog was bleeding from his surgery wound. Awful client relations. Then the vet Dr. Allen had the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. So cold, robotic, and almost seemed annoyed. She was informative however. The only great part of this emergency visit was because of the incredibly kind and knowledgeable vet tech Melissa. She took the time to answer our questions with great bedside manner and she helped calm the situation when we first brought him in. She deserves a raise honestly. Still, based off the interaction with the front desk girl and Dr. Allen - I wouldn’t come here unless it was the absolute last resort. Very weird energy here.

Dr Song and her whole staff were patient, sweet, and understanding. They took time to listen to everything I had to say and all my questions about my babies condition. They did not pressure me into any expenses treatments or tests for my baby. I would recommend this gentle and knowledgeable staff to anyone who cares about their fur babies.

Received outstanding care from Dr. Ginieczki. I can't say enough good things about her. She was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough and spent a great deal of time explaning my kitten's condition to both me and the potential new owner. She was realistic about his prognosis and options and was understanding and supportive of my financial limitations. Honestly, this was one of the best speciality Veterinary experiences I've had in 40 years of breeding cats. I would highly recommend Dr Ginieczki if you ever have an animal with Cardiac issues.

My cat needed surgery on her knee to repair a torn ligament, and my vet recommended AESC. They were quick to get her in, extremely fast to schedule her surgery, super responsive, and took great care of my girl. I love that they’re so helpful and willing to answer questions, and although I hope to not need their services again myself, I would recommend them to others.

I would recommend this place to anyone. We have taken several of our pets here for various reasons and they have always been terrific. This last time we had to bring our puppy in and we were as nervous as first time parents, The front desk and medical staff took very good care of our puppy and us.

You first come in you get charged an immediate $500 for an emergency service. On top of that, you sign a form that if your dog needs CPR they charge you an additional $175. This so disgusting. This place preys on people's most vulnerable moments.I brought in my older dog, who was going into DKA. They wanted approximately $5000 to take care of her for two days, which more than likely would have been several days more. Not knowing if there were other underlying issues (cancer, kidneys, intestinal bleeding, etc), I could not justify the cost only for them to tell me there was some other issue and it would cost thousands more. All I wanted was to give my dog an IV and insulin drip so she could be more comfortable. They refused unless I agreed to pay for all the services. Everything was marked up 300 to 400%. I left with my dog and, sadly, I had to put her down the next day since she was getting worse. I hope this company rethinks its business practices.

This was my first time visiting AESC and my dog and I had a wonderful experience. Staff were very apologetic for the short wait I had during check in. They were very accommodating of my fearfully reactive dog, Polly. Nick (I think he was a nurse or a tech) was beyond amazing with Polly. The male cardiologist we saw was so knowledgable and friendly. I didn't feel rushed as I was processing information and thinking of questions. I would 100% go back for any future needs!

Dr song and the staff took great care of my baby. They were so kind. She’s only a week into recovery and they are so kind in answering questions.

Didn’t even examine my dog. They said they did blood work but couldn’t tell me anything it said and I have no paperwork for it. Said he was dehydrated but again no paper work of test to prove it. Wanted to charge me 3k to keep him overnight and then do an ultrasound?! Why can’t you do it now, why do I need to give you 3k before you will even do an ultrasound. Then next suggestion was $1000 for X-rays! So basically they had no diagnosis and no idea what they were looking for. But were willing to charge me and arm and a leg for nothing. Spent over $400 for them to just give him fluids and a nausea med! Cost half that at Veterinary emergency group. Had to take him to another vet that would actually help and examine him and pay $500 dollars for the X-rays and blood work. Worst place!

We brought in a stray cat who had an injured (L) forepaw. Dr Baker & team were so great with him, we got in within a half hour & he got treated that same day. Thanks to all the ladies & guys who helped us out.
