Place is OK. Only reason I’m commenting is because the three employees standing right by the front door couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge me on my way in or my way out. They were way too engrossed in their conversation. Normally I don’t care, but that was kind of ridiculous.

I usually do not have an issue in this store and have been a patron since I heard about FiveBelow on social media.
Yesterday, me and my 2 kiddos went into the store after both of them doing really well at a medical appointment for one of my kids. We were not greeted upon entry, which I know is a store policy. During the visit, a friend from school also came in and they were walking thru the store and looking at things- granted a bit excitedly which I redirected them for.
As we were putting some items away that we were not going to get- I am not one of those rude people who just leaves it anywhere in the store but made my kids go put it back where it belongs- it was then I noticed that one of the workers was reprimanding my son for even looking at things. She even was hoovering while we were checking out and continuing to make snide comments as well as telling my kids what to do. I gave her a rather nasty look and made a comment about it being rude. She did not really even seem to care and clearly hates her job.
Lets face it this is a store for the young people and if you cant handle it maybe dont work there.... Unacceptable.

I have been coming here for years, but will no longer support this location due to the older woman with gray hair (I assume the manager). She has been beyond unpleasant with me on numerous occasions. I was accused of stealing for asking to use the bathroom, and when I offered to show her the inside of my bag to prove I was not in fact stealing I was met with snarkiness. I decided to give this location another chance today and literally watched this woman take a photo of me. When I confronted her about this, she was again very rude and defensive claiming she was taking a photo of the wall. As someone who also works in customer service, I always make sure to be friendly and polite to store employees and I am continuously met with rudeness by this woman. It’s a shame that I would rather drive 20 minutes up the road to another location than to risk interacting with this woman. I really hope upper management can resolve this since it seems to be a pattern with this woman based off of other reviews.

The older female employee working tonight should probably get a new job since she seems to not like it and or is not great with customer service. I'm at self check out because in today's world customers do half the work while prices increase. None the less I'm in a great mood getting paint stuff for me and my wife to have a couples date night from a tiktok date idea. They didn't have half the stuff on the video so I had to get alot of substitute items which confused me a bit but as im checking out I notices the canvases have paint in them but I already got paint so I left to see if there was a canvas only option. As I'm scanning she says those are seperate items please scan them separately even though they are the sane item. I've not once had this issue in my life anywhere else none the less I go to walk off to check for canvas only options since I already got paint and the employee said in a very rude manner are you done here so I saud yes sorry I'm going to look for a different option and she hissed with an attitude and I could feel the negative energy so as I'm walking away I turned back and sure enough she's shaking her head with an attitude. One its not that deep 2 again if you hate your job quite because we don't spend our money and stores for people to give us attitudes for absolutely no reason I looked for a name tag but since I confronted her on her attitude I'm sure she covered her name up but she knows who it is its at 6.60 pm today's date I'm literally in the parking lot doing this review.

I would like to give 5 star because the store and employees are great except the one I had to encounter today Nov 24th 2024 10:30 am around. This employee she was rude to another customer who was with her daughter and very rudely said ro her ro use the proper lane to come to check out counter and rolled her eyes. No kids want to see her parents being treated like that and even the employee was kind of rude to me when the gift card I have her and she scratched it and it was not working ?and another employee was able to get that card working. Whoever owns this place should look into the camera and see how thos lady employee was talking to customers.

Always clean and organized. The staff is courteous and helpful! Great place for last minute gifts and sticking stuffers.

I love this store, but my check out was definitely unpleasant and painful today. I was with my 4 year old, he brought his own little toy truck to the store. I did specifically told them when I entered the store that we are brining little truck in the store. On the check out they scanned everything for us and were super rude. No need to be rude. You should have a plan for when customers bring their own stuff, maybe have a check in system and keep our stuff somewhere while we shop, it’s not that difficult. You also have cameras. That’s the first time I had bad experience in this store at this location. That experience makes me not want to come back to this store ever again. It’s your store’s responsibility to make sure every single item is protected from being stolen and it’s not right to treat customers like we are trying to steal stuff. I understand if that was Gucci store, but it’s 5 below.

Warning: when checking out. They micro manage scan you out. Making a human feel degraded and like you've done something bad. That is what cameras and security are for. I had three items to check out. Top of her voice shouting. Absolutely NOT a warm feeling while shopping. Abrasive and rude.
