When do you ever get great honest news that no work needs to be done on your car? At PTG, that's when. My truck was acting super funny, weird issues with the transmission. One transmission shop in Englewood said the fluid was burnt and I needed a total rebuild ($2900); another mechanic in Denver said the TIPM is toast ($1800). PTG mechanics looked it over for a couple days and said it simply needed a general service and full fluid exchange ($250). It's been driving fantastic since I got it back last week. I love the honesty and I love that they stand behind their word and their work. Highly recommend PTG.

Forgot to leave them a review when they worked on my CVT transmission earlier this year. Great people and very well priced.
Update: went back in today and again was not disappointed. The guys told me of some transmission issues that I have which are pretty much implying that the car won't last long and the work was unnecessary. Very honest and trustworthy shop.

I took my Mazda in with my AT light on in April/May. After a couple weeks (which I expected as normal timing) they told me they put a new transmission in and that the vehicle would be working. Less than a day later it was having problems and the light was back on so I took it back into them. After several months of this, thousands of dollars of repairs and eventually taking my car to 2 other mechanics I found out the part they needed (a wiring harness) is no longer being made AND there are no new ones to replace it with left. While this shop did offer to refund me “some of the labor” they got me to pay for and install whole new transmission and a TCM module on a car that might not even last another 500 miles. This is something a professional mechanic should have known without first jumping to putting a whole new transmission in and charging the customer for it. Be careful here.

Sad to say, but we have not had a good experience with this shop. They rebuilt our transmission n our truck over a year ago. In August of 2023, our transmission started having trouble. We took it back to them, and each time they said nothing was wrong. Maybe we were driving it differently (that was a bit offensive). We took the truck back 4 times, and each time nothing was done to fix the problem. We finally had to have our neighbor figure out the problem with the transmission, so we took it back here and told them the issue. They said they would rebuild us another transmission and were ordering the core from back east. That was well before Christmas 2023. We have heard nothing from them since. We called yesterday and today for an update, and they don't have any. They sure seem reluctant to honor their warranty and make this right. The only reason we keep going back is because the transmission is under warranty and we shouldn't have to pay a new shop for a working transmission. It is unacceptable to let this go on since August 2023, and we still cannot drive our truck!
