Not a great school the teachers are clueless I went here 7 years and all of those years were mediocre you would get a good teacher or you wouldn’t I would say only 3 teachers I had were good and would try to help the other teachers just don’t care the principal would not solve any problem you or Child would report about anything even thought they say we’re handling it I would not recommend anyone going here but if you do hopefully you get better with teachers than I did. I say even thought I didn’t have the best teachers I have so many fun memories with friends and all that I did learn.

I used to go here and thought it was awful. Then I got to middle school and realized Prairie Crossing was nothing. I would do anything to come back. Word of advice: GET OUT OF DOUGLAS COUNTY! WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T GO TO SIERRA! YOU ARE RISKING YOUR OWN SANITY! You think PCE is bad, you really don't want to come to Sierra. It is Prairie Crossing tenfold. It is the worst place on Earth.

I went there from 1st-5th grade and left in 2015. The teachers are awful, there learning curriculum is not good enough to teach anyone who wants to get ahead. They don’t know how to teach kids with learning problems and there way of handling kids is awful. I do not recommend.

My brother has been verbally harassed by a teacher all year. He often comes home in tears and tells us about what his teacher said about him that day. After many attempts to communicate with the principal, the school has done nothing to stop the harassment. He has low self esteem even though he's only in the 3rd grade. It breaks my heart. Please don't take your child to school here. It isn't a healthy environment.

We moved into Prairie Crossing's boundaries at the end of last year. Our daughter has made lots of friends at school, she loves her teachers, and we feel that she is challenged in classes. We like that music and art have not been cut and the technology program is well supported. The staff and administration is very responsive to parents.
