I highly recommend KinderCare Stonegate! Our kiddo loves his teachers and you can tell the staff really cares. They put a lot of work into creative activities for the kids and the center is clean and well kept too!

Edit as of 2023: We moved our children from this daycare after a year of worries. We had constant concerns of the staff, and the management was not present or kind. The director continued to fight with parents and staff members, and many of the teachers left because of her. Our children were constantly sick (something I thought was normal until I moved the kids to a place that actually cares about the facility and the children) and there were emails weekly staying there wasn't enough staff to cover all the kidsI love this center. I have two children who attend this center, and I wouldn't want them anywhere else. The teachers are loving, attentive and truly care about all of the children. My child in the 4-year-old classroom is constantly coming home with schoolwork they have done during the day, and I am amazed by how much she learns every single day. She loves going to school, and I love hearing her stories every single night.I also have a child in the infant room. My baby is always having fun, and the infant room teachers are the best. It makes this mama's heart happy that my baby is with teachers who care so much about him, and want to be there with the babies. They have almost as much fun as the kids with the lesson plans and activities for the babies. The Kindercare app is also so helpful. I love getting pictures for both of my kiddos every day, and there are a lot! The teachers are so good about keeping the app updated with what the kids are doing, and I love being able to check on each of them throughout the day.The center director and assistant director are also the best! They are always there to greet us when we drop off the kids, and are always pleasant and kind. They are welcoming to talking about individual needs of each kid, and I can't count the number of times I have sat down in the front office to talk to each one of them. They communicate well, both in person and over the app, and it makes knowing what is going on at the center easy.I would not trust my children anywhere else, and would recommend this center to anyone!

This center location has been unable to keep any consistent staff, it has been a constant revolving door of teachers, directors & assistant directors. The center is extremely filthy and the quality of care is bare minimum at best. Any of the reliable and quality staff that has been at Kindercare has left due to lack of pay & work culture and it shows in the staff that Kindercare does retain, there seems to be no training or qualifications needed, they will hire anyone willing to work there and it shows. In the last 6 months especially, we have not felt comfortable sending our child there as there is no communication when our child was feeling sick, often would be sitting in a dirty diaper upon pick up, constantly would be missing items such as winter coats, shoes, diapers/supplies sent. The center is and has been complete chaos from the dirty bathrooms & classrooms to the clutter filling the hallways. The last director Shantelle would ignore emails and messages sent by us with our concerns and lacked any communication skills. Would never reccomend a Kindercare at this location or any for that matter.... they do not compensate their employees and it shows in the revolving door of staff & standards of care of bare minimum.

Over the last several months kindercare has gone down significantly in any good quality one would expect from a daycare. It got to the point where I felt u comfortable leaving my children there (we have since left and found a new daycare). There was a complete lack of trust in the facility to keep my children safe and happy. The director was aggressive and rude to both parents and staff members. She would become aggressive with any parent who disagreed with her and I heard her threaten to “disenroll” a while more than once. She would follow parents to the parking lot and continue arguments as they attempted to walk away. I would never recommend this place until there is some actual change in management (and I’m including the regional management also)

A toddler got out of the school and was spotted by someone in the drive thru at the Taco Bell next door, wandering around the parking lot. The school was then put on probation and almost all the teachers and the director left. We were assured that the school was being checked on monthly during the probationary period and that things would improve. I didn't want to change my son's school since he has difficult with transitions. There has been constant turnover of the teachers for the last year. Today the director and most of the teachers walked out of the school in the middle of the day, leaving our children alone. We are changing schools.

The teachers were fine, however management was atrocious. The whole reason I pulled my kids was I requested a copy of ALL documents for my children as I forgot to make copies when I filled out the paperwork. The director came back to me and said they need to request the paperwork for corporate and she could only locate a few papers for only one of my kids. THIS MEANT SHE HAD NONE OF MY EMERGENCY CONTACT FORMS NOR MY EMERGENCY PLANS. I was very upset and immediately pulled my children. I was told by the director that due to this error they would waive the final month of fees as what would be required in the contract I signed. I continued to follow up with the head office to see if they could give me copies of the contract forms. Only to find out they had never been uploaded. They then proceeded to bill me over $2000 for the final month against the word of the director. Stay away and take your kids to another cheaper daycare that actually bothers keeping your contact information. Unfortunately the amount has now gone to collection so this place has just purchased $2000 worth of bad publicity. Hello 9 news.

I wrote my first review years ago... it's safe to say this place went down the toilet REAL quick since that review. The entire staff up and left.. come to find out a LOT of shady things happened while they were here. The new staff was just evil. The new director was very cruel to staff and parents and we can only imagine how she treated the children. We left and I heard that staff also up and left. The Regional Managers do nothing to help the situation.. They truly do not care about the families or kids, they just want money. It's sad and scary... Very scary when kids are running away from the center, when the police and there all the time, and when the person in charge is evil.Original Post:We love love love love KinderCare! My son started about two years ago and it’s crazy to see him advance so fast. When he started, he was very shy around people and didn’t talk much at all. Now, he’s so social, started talking after a few weeks of starting, and is SO so smart. The staff is extremely friendly and I love getting updates and pictures in the app during the day.

Over the last year my experience with kindercare has been horrendous. The entire staff left last year and this location was never able to recover. Kids are not watched properly, staff are clearly unhappy and don't know what they are doing, and the director is rude to both staff and parents. I am still blown away she works in the child care field. The location never has enough staff to keep classes open and there are constant emails requesting to keep you child home for the day or week. It is not uncommon for several staff members (4 at a time) to just leave and quit and not return. This is in part due to the aggressive and unfriendly director. We have been going to kindercare with my children for over 5 years and this past month I finally pulled my son and moved him to a new daycare. It is not a good feeling to drop your child off at a center where it seems no one cares or wants to be there. Something needs to change here. It's heartbreaking.

I really liked this daycare when enrolling my daughter. The staff and former director were great. Since the new director Shantelle has come aboard she has handled many situations completely unprofessional. I have had to miss work on multiple occasions due to her poor communication skills and lack of information given to parents. I have walked in to drop my daughter off and she tells me at that moment "there is staffing issues she can not stay. I was just about to send a message out." Yea, that message never came. When confronting her about the situation she then threatened to terminate care as of that day. I have heard other parents ask her about CCCAP attendance due to her not allowing children to stay. She just does not seem to care at all. If you need reliable care I would not recommend this center. It is so sad because my daughter loved being there. Upon picking my daughter up yesterday she informed me she can not come back. Staffing is still an issue and she can not find help or anyone to hire. I believe this staffing issue stems from her. None of this was an issue prior to her coming. Now I am missing work due to this, desperately trying to find childcare. On top of being unprofessional she is extremely rude. I have contacted corporate with the last issue, The district manager was contacted as well. No response or follow up. I am also wondering how I paid tuition for the entire month yet my daughters care has been terminated due to her having staff shortages. None of this was discussed in a professional manner. It was- I am terminating her care due to staffing- as I picked up my daughter. I would avoid this daycare under her management.

Unfortunately, this KinderCare location left me and my family hanging in such an inconvenient and unprofessional way. Prior to the new director starting, I had completely arranged for my child to take a summer break from care out of state, but return for the week prior to kindergarten starting. Everything was discussed, documented, and handled. I even discussed payment. The old director Katie told me I can pay as usual on the Friday before care was needed. She absolutely ensured my spot would not be filled and would be waiting for my son when he returned on July 31st. I had discussed this plan in length and confirmed with Katie multiple times throughout April and May. I called to make the payment this morning and the new director had no clue what I was talking about. Even worse, my sons spot has been filled and the new director can’t/wont do anything about it. Talk about bad business and communication on Kindercares part. So now, only a few days out from needing care and I’m left scrambling to find the care I desperately need. Of course it’s the end of July so everywhere is booked! KinderCare will never be an option I use for care again. And to think, this was the company’s “second chance” with my family. The first chance was at the Gambrills, MD location in 2016 when they tried to send my 10 month old baby home with a gaping gash on the back of her head behind her ear with zero explanation and zero accountability. It seems as though KinderCare cheaps out on their hiring, vetting, and training process. Licensing should be receiving complaints.

We've had so many ups and downs here. Overall take away: not very safe, teachers are nice but directors (old and new) need off their high horse and are pretty rudeThe directors seem to always talk down to parents. Teachers leave after a few months (seems to happen all over but if they were paid better or treated better I'm sure it would be a different sorry) This place is dangerous.... with the old staff, I was grabbing my sons backpack and he was 2 at the time... he ran out of the class, past the office full of grown adults, and into the parking lot. Why didn't they stop him?! Luckily that staff is all gone. My youngest.... hand foot and mouth is going around the daycare (currently). They sent my son home saying he had spots. He didn't. I took him to the doctor, got a note saying he is clear, and they still won't let him go back to school! They told EVERYONE they can go back once they got a doctors note, why not my kid? They even sent handouts to families saying if there is no disease they can go back, except my kid can't?! I asked the new director over and over multiple questions and she dodged them. They give you the run around here. I guess it's legal to send healthy kids home and still make you pay. Also in the infant class, the new director was watching the babies and one was on a pillow propped up. She was doing other things and the baby slid off and hit his head on the hard floor and started to cry. She said "oh" and continued doing whatever she was doing before she grabbed my son... I was scared to leave him there and wondered how they'd neglect my baby that day. When babies cry most just shrug. Probably because it's 10 babies per 1 adult which seems like a lot... not sure what normal is, but I know I couldn't handle ten babies.. You have to pay extra tuition during summer for summer activities that are cancelled more often than notThe regional manager (or whoever was the regional manager about a year ago) is super rude. When the entire staff up and left (that's also a red flag and shows how the regional manager is for her entire staff to leave) I reached out to corporate and they put me in touch with her. Lie after lie, a condescending tone and a lot of going in circles... she was very unhelpful to the point I emailed corporate to complain about her. A couple years ago a two year old escaped and ran over to Taco Bell. A customer there brought him back to the center. I imagine it's easy for kids to leave when the director is NEVER in the office. Anyone can go in or go out, it's not safe. There's an app to enter information about your kids however they rarely post pictures... when we signed up they raved about how they always post pics so you can see your kids during the day. But it doesn't happenThe center also smells like a dirty diaper constantly. I see people clean so I know it happens but unsure of how often. They have a bunny and the poor guy is stuck in a corner sometimes. His cage is constantly filling up with poop which is neither pleasant nor sanitary. Then there are some very nice teachers and to them we are very thankful. It's hard leaving children in other peoples care. Thank you to the nice teachers we've run into along the way. I hope you find a better job, one where you're appreciated and paid well. Last year the fours class had a ton of activities... magician came, hawks and reptile guy came, field trip to the big park and to cold stone, sonic slushie day.... this year, splash day is constantly cancelled and when I asked about it our new director spoke to me as if it was my fault lol she's so rude I can't believe this woman works with people for a living.Update to add we've called kindercare corporate all week and haven received a call back. I'm assuming corporate doesn't care about the well being of families or children, which is pretty sad.

If I could select 6 stars I would. We LOVE Stonegate KinderCare!! I have two small boys that attend, almost 3 and almost 1. I get comments all the time on how smart my almost three year old is and I attribute a lot of it to the curriculum here. They do so many projects and activities throughout the day. The best part is I get pictures and updates on activities, naps, meals, diaper changes etc on the app!The teachers are so attentive kind and patient with the kids. Mr. Keith doesn't even have my kids in his class and yet he knows all of us by name and goes out of his way to greet us every morning. Our director Samantha, is amazing. If I ever send in an email or have a question I get a response back from her or Karli within about 5 minutes Every.Single.Time. I remember being so scared as a new mom when I had to start researching daycares for the first time but they made me feel so good about it and I have never, ever doubted my children's safety and well-being there. I would recommend this facility to anyone!

We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the Stonegate KinderCare location. The caregivers are so sweet and everyone is always smiling. They know my name when I come in and our daughter is always happy, clean and cared for when we pick her up. Our daughter is only 7 months old and I’m usually scared to leave her in anyone’s care but our own. KinderCare gives me peace of mind while I’m at work and I love the live updates through their app. The photos and notes are my favorite thing to see throughout my day. I’m very happy with our daycare choice.
