Great staff and ‘good enough’ facility for my needs but the overall business model and business practice is horrible.
They essentially ‘bait & switch’ you in with a low monthly rate and steadily increase your rate every three months. My rate started at $178 and ballooned up to $312 12months later. The justification that it was ‘market rate increase’. When they had the same unit for the initial ~$180 rate listed on their website.
They will not negotiate and they dont care if you leave for a better facility / lower rate.
The business model is to get you in the door with a low rate and they are banking on the inconveince of moving all your stuff versus just paying the rate increase.
Its not just this location, its every location and its the Storquest’s overall business model and it will cost the company in the long run.
If you choose to patronize Storquest - get your rate locked in / in-writting or they will gradually increase your rates. Its a shady business practice but they dont care.
