This is a great company, and I've enjoyed their rockets since I was a little kid 50 years ago. Back in those days before the internet, they had a full color catalog, and I remember daydreaming about the very cool scissor wing transport. As for John Buchanan's review, I think you sound like a miserable sob. Why get so upset over a company's website being down temporarily, lol? Get a life John.

I have loved their products since childhood. I wish they would bring back great designs such as the Gemini DC.

In an age where parents routinely bubble wrap their children for safety, the embracement of model rocketry is certainly an entertaining lunatic fringe anachronism worthy of your parent's health insurance. In previous reviews I have mentioned my childhood fondness for "dangerous toys," so you can imagine my elation when I could spend many an after school playtime shoving a quarter stick of dynamite in a cardboard tube and blasting it into space. By leaps and bounds, Estes Industries made the best -- from relatively simple ready to fly models to far more complex multi-stage Apollo Saturn V rockets, Estes products were remarkably detailed and included many with cameras and locators. Most were hand-ignited with a fuse since the entire hobby was cool and frankly, when it came to safety, we didn't know what we didn't know. Before ATM's we only had dad who never really understood why the engines cost so damn much. But hey daddy-O explosives are expensive. For that matter, so is bubble wrap. T-minus five stars and two hours to the next launch. Remember to bring matches and your BB gun.

At first I never actually build any interest on this Binary/Forex trading of a thing but when I later gave it a try with the Help of this wonderful Expert Trader Mrs Ami Brenda it was a successful trade for me. All i did was to invest $600 into my first trading and to my greatest surprise, I received huge amount of $7,120 as profit in 6 days of trading. Mrs Ami Brenda was the trader that made it possible and she is still doing it all for me.. Contact her Email:

I live in a small town that requires some shipments to go to a P.O. Box and some to go to the street address. I screwed up the address on my Estes order. After calling them, they went out of their way to track down the package (already labeled and placed for shipping) and changed the address label at the last second. They didn’t charge me anything and were very friendly about it.

My brother and I have built and flown Estes rockets since the 1970’s. Back in the day, we had to have Dad hook up the car battery to power the launcher! It’s a fantastic hobby which encompasses making something, then seeing how it functions in a spectacular way every time!

quite accidentally i crossed paths (in a cellular fashion) with someone at Estes Rockets - and granted, maybe i've succumbed to the effects of altitude and solar exposure in a small way - still i've gotta let anyone who cares a whit know, i personally haven't had questions answered so well in such genuine a friendly fashion, in all honesty, for at least maybe 3 to 5, could be more years - anyway it was surprising, and cool.

My son and I had quite a collection 30 ish years ago. I liked building them, we even had a lot of custom rockets, we had a very small one I build that used A engine any was amazing. We would go out to a sports complex in our town it was such a blast(pun intended). It is such a great hobby to share as a family and the science of it makes for a great learning experience.
