Yeah, I'm not happy with this place. They promised me a Kitty out of the litter. And then they called me and said they had onea lleft So they lie to me. Don't trust these people.

I absolutely love this humane shelter! My sister got her cat from here, and my family did, too. The staff here care so much for the adorable animals and it shows. The process here is straightforward and secure, and you get to see so many cute kitties. The thrift store is also pretty neat, and it helps support the animals :)

Great staff. They really care about their pets and the fit with the family. They ensure the dog is going to be a good match and have great experience to read their pets.

This is a small, very well run facility. All animals are well cared for and get personal attention and care. Their adoption process is not a "get 'em out the door" policy at all. They truly care. We adopted 2 cats from IMHS and they are both doing great. I highly recommend them and the work they do. Also, please donate. They have a thrift store you can donate to as well. Visitation for adoption is appointment only but you can streamline the process by filling out an application before you visit your new furry friend.

recently just adopted a kitten from IMHS and not only was the staff helpful and knowledgeable, I didn't see 1 litter box dirty. there's a lot of love and care they put into their animals until they find their forever homes. the application approval process can be time consuming, however it's just a precaution so these lovely fur babies find their perfect and forever homes ! our kitten who's now named calypso is not only one of the sweetest kittens we have ever had, but her personality is just amazing through and through. they love humans, and obviously have been loved as much as they can be while in the shelter. would definitely be adopting again from IMHS in the future

I adopted a kitten from here a few months ago, the location is so cute and unique. Tucked into the mountains, you are able to take a nice drive through the forest. The actual building itself it separated into two and the office is located in the second building in the back. The staff was so kind! The shop was closed when I went but I might take a drive back just to see it again:)

Friendly and caring staff. The thrift store is fun and run totally by amazing volunteers so your funds go straight to the shelter. MAKE SURE you go in person to see if they are accepting drop offs/donations before you load up your vehicle, because of the volunteer run schedule and covid it has been difficult for them to go through donations, I think currently they arent accepting any donations until the end of November.

This place is such a critical asset to our community- grateful for all the volunteers and staff for their responsible dedication and obvious hard work ... all for the benefit of rescued animals! Drop by to fill out an application to see their new arrivals and consider a new family member! Lots of new dogs and plenty of kittens!

I feel that they are rude and mean. Telling us that we would be able to adopt a kitten after explaining we would indeed keep the kitten indoors. Waited until we arrived to fill out paperwork and pick up the kitten and the manager rudely tells me in front of my child that she would never let us adopt a kitten. This floors me that they treat people this way.
