Freedom storage bought RDale Storage on Desert Flower last year. In January, they supposedly sent out email advising rate increases. The only reason I became aware of the increase is bc I'd check my bank transactions and saw the increased charge. Our storage fee went up from $50 to $80! I called to find out why this happened and was told about the email going out which ai never saw. That said, I asked for the owner's name so I could speak with them and was told Mr. Ortiz. When I asked for his first name, Kylene said she didn't like giving out his first name to just anybody (her exact words, not mine). Good business 101 should be to NOT tell the customer the business is doing them a favor by taking their money! Look for another storage facility that will not only protect your things, but cares to protect the relationship with their customers. As of this writing, I am still waiting for Mr. Ortiz to call me back. Though to be honest, Kylene said she would talk with Mr. Ortiz about my concern regarding the rates increase and she didn't know if he would WANT to call me back.

I have had nothing but a good experience with this storage facility. New ownership/management are very attentive and seem to really care about their customers. I have both a locker and a space for my car and every time I go to my locker or to tinker with my car the facility is always very clean and the staff is very nice. They also have an auto pay system that makes it painless to pay my monthly payment. I can appreciate this due to how busy life is. Thank you for taking great care of my property.

i am in the need of a NEW storage unit in the Pueblo West area! any place other then ......Osprey Storage Industrial749 E Industrial Blvd, Pueblo West, CO 81007! the OLD A-1 Storage.i have NEVER been harassed by a company before like this one. the people that work there are perfectly fine on the site. its the management in VEGAS that only cares about the money!i have never been late. always on on time with auto pay. i get notices starting the 2nd of the month that i'm late. my auto pay is on the 5th. no grace point.every month since i have been with them. they have asked for either home owners or renters insurance. i gave them on the first day a copy of my renters insurance for 50k in coverage. they only need you to have a low of 5k.i have told them to take me off all TEXT, Emails and MAILING list. i still get hit a couple of times from each source.i pay 95 bucks a month for a 10x10x8. when its on the web site for 80 bucks a month!i have told them all of this. Still no fixing any of the problems that i have let alone all the others in this same place! plus paying HIGHER then on their web site!thanks for reading and any help in finding a new place to rent out!may you all have a great weekend and peace

I tried for a few weeks to get ahold of someone back in November/December. Finally a Gabriele called. She was not friendly and said we could take our business elsewhere if we did not want to deal with her because she also has a life outside of this business. Plus a classmate said she has a bunch of family writing 5 star reviews for them to offset the poor customer service.

I have never once in my life been late. Phil the manager I spoke said I could pay on the 20th 4 days after my normal anniversary date. Stated he would waive the late fee call and he would. Well call no answer, next day all call forwarding, today charged the account with the late fee to a card saved on file not on auto pay because I have nothing on auto pay. Didn't plan on using the card. Phil answers today says he waived my fee last month not late sir sorry never have been. So he was rude and said nothing he could do I was 8 days late. Well 16th to 22nd is only 6 days. I have been locked in the facility with no response because the inside key pad didn't work. What a joke to be a good tenant there. I would love to post all my payment history. Funny sir, it was never late or on autopay would be on the 16th of each month. Weird usually pay around the 9th to the 12th. Go else where this is not a good place and I will be moving out before my next anniversary.

I have used them for over a year . They never answer the phone even when I was locked in the facility. I have never been late on a payment until this month made an arrangement with them to waive the late fee and they took it upon them selves to charge my account that I make my payment out of sometimes. They claim it's on auto pay which its not I go online every month to process my payment this place the manager Phil and the previous manager are a joke.

I am so taking this place to court.They took my money then cut my lock.I have a terminal child and al his medical supplies are in there. I paid them!If I loose all our paperwork for my son's transplant I will make sure the ADA lawsuit is filed and a personal lawsuit.Manager will not return emails or calls.This place is a nightmare!And no they are not working with me. They know I am in the hospital at the VA. They knew we moved out of our old residence. SO where they sent the lien is not even lived in any longer. Not my fault you didn't update your files. So you didn't legally do anything, because I did not receive the lien. You can call it uncalled for. But you are still threatening us. You only responded after I left reviews.Do not rent here. I am hoping to find someone in pueblo that get go save our stuff, because both my son and I are medically fragile right now and my husband can't drive from Denver with our daughters to clear out the storage in the timeframe he is giving us. DON'T be fooled.

Terrible.The units are generally clean and the place seems secure, but they never answer the phone. They have now locked me out of the facility even though I have ALWAYS paid my bill on time. I have some of the last items that belonged to my father in there and she doesn’t care. Just locked me out for no reason and refuses to answer any texts or calls.
