“I got a gift card for this place for Christmas in which I used to purchase a new pair of boots. After about 3 months, the heel ripped off the right boot. Which I must admit that was pretty freaking quick, work boots usually last me 3-5 years. It's probably just a one-off fluke.
Anyway, I lost the receipt, so I went in there hoping they would be able to look it up by phone number. It was my first time in Cavender's, and I guess I didn't expect to be back for a good while, so I didn't put in my phone #.
However, they were able to find the transaction in their system by combination of it being a gift card purchase and the boot brand/style to find my transaction and traded me out for a new pair. Top notch customer service. Had I gone anywhere else, I'm sure I would have had to eat the loss due to not having my receipt.”

“My wife and I had an excellent experience at Kohls a couple of days ago. While there were very few associates around to help, we were able to locate what we were looking for. The discounts and deals were abundant, and we decided to purchase more than we had planned. At checkout, we were cared for by Dominic and he did a great job of getting us signed up for a Kohls card and saving us a lot more money than we expected. His customer service skills were great.
