There is a wait to be seen at this clinic because of so many clients. Very knowledgeable, skillful, kind, thoughtful. Would not go anywhere else in Pueblo area.

During the lock downs in 2020 we couldn't go into the office with our pets. I took my dog in for a rabies shot. Just Rabies! I prefer to give one vaccine at a time in case there is a reaction. Without my consent they decided to give him distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, AND parvovirus, in addition to rabies, with no authorization! It was all way too much for my dog at one time and he started having seizures and frank bloody stools. I called to let them know and they were very apologetic, but... Anyway, I did some homeopathic detox and he came out of it thank goodness. But he will never be able to have another vaccine. I will never know which vaccine caused the issue. Nor will he ever be able to go to a boarding kennel or doggie daycare. I will have to titer test for immunity if I want to know his status. Sadly, this should never have happened. Other than that, my experience with them was always stellar!

My dog was injured and unable to use one of his legs. I called Mesa Veterinary Clinic and he was seen the same day. They kept me informed and discussed the procedures with me. The staff and Vet were amazing with him. I am so grateful they were able to help him.

My regular vet was booked all day for surgeries. I was gonna have to drive to springs for my Mama's fur baby to be seen today on emergency. Mesa vet said there would be a wait but would help him, and they did. Thank you for being so nice and getting him onto the road to recovery! You guys are awesome!!

Been a long time customer never have to take my animals in but for routine stuff use to be a great place but since the pandemic they have slowly started to go downhill and now I try to get a animal in and I’m told we are booked and want to refer us to springs I’m sorry but if I really want to see someone else I would be with you just sad I’ve heard it had gotten bad but didn’t want to believe it and now I’m experiencing it for myself and well not a happy person having to rethink if I can stay there

Mesa vet is the WORST just spent 3 hours in the waiting room and then they charge me for an emergency visit when they specifically said it wasn’t. Now they can’t fix it of course. Their receptionist are beyond rude !!!!! Will NEVER be back ! I

I've taken my mastiff dogs to mesa vet for seven years. I always get polite, prompt service. The vets are very thorough and patient. The support staff is also thorough & patient. They have always accomodated our needs as a family. There is a reason this clinic is busy: it is trusted by farmers, ranchers, pet owners and Animal Law.

Mesa Vet Clinic and all of they're staff Rock!!! We've been using them for all of our animals for 15 years and this past weekend they saved our Doberman puppy Xena's life after she ate something extremely toxic and could not walk. Thanks Dr. Tiffany and all your staff. Craig & Deni

my dog has been sneezing blood so we took her here and waited 3 hours in the car just for her to get in. we weren't allowed to go in the lobby. they were unable to diagnose her and said they would schedule a blood test for her. never got back with the test results. staff was rude when taking card for payment. go to a faster place.

We had a part of our family, our cat, diagnosed with CKD in December, 2020. I was very pleased with his care at that time, and with the Dr. T. Renkes. He had stopped eating and was peeing blood. The doctor gave him antibiotics and an appetite stimulant, which got him to eating again. I gave him SQ fluids every day for 5 months. When he crashed in May, 2021, we came back to the clinic and was assigned a new doctor. Never told why we had a new doctor. Our new doctor made the diagnosis that his kidney failure was getting worse, from a blood test. We were not given any other options for tests. Later, when I did my homework, I read on the bottom of his blood test results the the recommended next step to his treatment was urinalysis. Urinalysis was not done. My cat stopped eating again, and I was not given an appetite stimulant. I felt pressured to let him go. I wish now that I would have been more aggressive about his treatment and asked what other tests we might do, as he may have had a bad UTI going on. But again, I feel the doctor should have suggested other choices for tests to be run. I should not have to ask for those tests. They should be offered, then let me choose. If I can request my cat's doctor, I will go back.

Although I have had good experiences to here in the past, I had a scheduled appointment and parked in the designated spot, I sat there for 30 minutes watching them service other patients that came after me. Apparently they have had changes and are no longer five star
