I called Pueblo Urgent care while I was in the emergency room with my daughter. I was under extreme stress. Christy the young lady helped me with my 6 year old 1/2 pug 1/2 chihuahua who was also experiencing an emergency. They were able to see us after hours if needed. I highly recommend Christy and Pueblo Urgent care. She was calm and understanding and was very clear with the process and what may happen during the visit. They will be the first urgent care I will call if an emergency happens again. Way to go Christy!

I called to take my son's cat in and let them know the symptoms he was having. I was told they could not treat him, they felt what was going on was very serious and get worse very quickly. But, they couldn't see him at their office as they were a capacity and I should take him to Springs! My son doesn't drive and this was the closet ER. They said they were closing at 11 and had to many pts. .it was just before 10. Terrible!

The staff at Pueblo Urgent Care was helpful while my dog was sick. He was inexplicably throwing up. They helped him stop vomiting until I could get him in with my regular vet. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. This is an urgent care, so it's more expensive than a standard vet, but not quite as expensive as a 24 hour emergency vet. They did give me several options of care routes we could do. They see patients according to the severity of the case, which means if your pet is not having a life threatening emergency, you may be waiting for a while. They do have you wait in your car still.I was waiting with my dog for a little over an hour. You can also call in before you go to see what the wait time is and see if you want to wait it or if you want to drive up to the springs to an emergency vet. It's helpful to have this kind of service in Pueblo rather than always having to drive up to the springs.

This animal urgent care is a joke. I was in front of their fortino location and they refused to open the doors unless I had $900.00. These people are not animal lovers. If you care about your pet do not take them here. Infact do not own a pet in Pueblo, CO. There isn't a single decent vet in this drug infested town.

It’s an emergency vet, it’s expensive. I don’t know why anyone is surprised by this. The exam fee is $135 as of 12/2023. The two clinics we called in the springs were $165 and $185, so pretty decent in comparison. We were the first to arrive with our dog (and the only ones there) but a few minutes later another dog arrived in worse condition so he was obviously seen first. There are signs inside the exam rooms that break down the levels of urgency and while ours *was* urgent, it wasn’t life or death. That said, from our intake to picking him back up from surgery was only a couple hours.Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. I do hope we don’t ever have to come back but I’m glad they’re here for us just in case! I would 100% recommend

Went in last night because my beagle had a lump on her throat and seemed like her breathing was impaired, I was so scared my dog couldn't breathe, I had to drive an hour because I don't have an ER Vet were I live, the Dr's at the urgent care here were very professional and very nice, they got my baby in fast and gave her antibiotics, Thank you Urgent care!

This place is horrible. All the vets in pueblo are horrible. They just tell you to go to the springs with your pet. I would rather go to the springs anyways because the vets here don't give a damn about your pet having an emergency

The love, devotion, and connection I had with my dear Tori, for 14 years, was impeccably respected by this clinic. It was late at night when it became tragically clear that my girl would not make it to the next sunrise. Despite being very close to their closing time they took us in with gentle and compassionate hearts towards me and my passing dog. They allowed me a great amount of time during each step of the process to grieve and love my dog. Remaining ever so kind and patient with me. The front desk lady, the assistant/tech, and the vet were all very gentle and understanding. I could not have asked for more. I was extremely worried as to how I would receive my beloved pets ashes, as I had never cremated one before. They expressed the love and respect I had for her so well. Putting her to rest in a beautiful little urn, created a paw print keepsake with her name printed into it in the shape of a heart, and including a very respectful certificate of cremation. All packaged in a beautiful yet discrete felt bag inside a gift bag of sorts. This beyond all else showed me the care and devoted professionalism they have towards the pets and pet owners that they help. I appreciate this clinic and will gladly use their services again should I ever need to, as well as encourage others to. Thank you all for the kind, caring, and compassionate treatment you showed me that late windy night.
