I called to inquire about re-housing our dog and was, unfortunately, met with a woman on the phone who was not the cheerful sort I thought would answer. Re-housing a family pet of 5 years is an emotional and hard decision, but we want the best for our family and our beloved dog. He's a great dog and deserves the best home. The woman made a few assumptions about our life and circumstances that had no credible base and wrongfully implied that we didn't know what we were in for getting a dog like this. I was very disappointed by her remarks and attitude. I hope that others have had a better experience.

Over 2 years ago, I took my adult female collie here to meet a potential companion female collie. We met baby Skye there and my adult collie Lassie fell in love immediately. Collies are herding dogs. It’s in there genes to like to herd anything that’s moving. They are protective and will bark in warning.They are super smart and if you work with them, they try very hard to please their person. They really enjoy children when properly introduced. They love having open space but can adapt to a fenced yard and long walks on a leash. Most of all they are sweet loyal companions, also of course, very beautiful. One of mine loves grooming but the other hates it. I hope to always have one by my side and if you adopt one from the rescue it will be forever grateful in my experience.

Hope is wonderful with all her dogs and the rescues lucky enough to come to her. She takes amazing care of every dog and really works hard to find them good loving homes where they will be a good fit. She is also very knowledgeable about the breed and happy to share that information with people so they can be better owners to their dogs. I highly recommend you visit or call if you're looking for a new best buddy!

Highly recommend this rescue. Hope was very helpful, non-judgmental, and very detail-oriented when it came to to re-homing our pup and really learning about her personality and needs. She is very intentional in this process and kind-hearted. We're really grateful that she does this work, and we recommend the rescue if you can no longer keep your dog or if you are ready to adopt one.

I’m desperately trying to rehome my American Bully XL, my mistake was that i didn’t saw the pictures here and i didn’t know about the breeds Collie and/or Shelties since now lol, any ways the lady on the phone had a horrible attitude with me instead of trying to help and inform me. I can’t imagine how she treats the dogs there.

Rmcsr is absolutely wonderful! We have adopted 3 beautiful collies from them. They home check and do an extensive background check on potential adopters. They are all about finding the perfect homes for their adoptees. They love what they do and it shows!
