Rosemount Museum is a grand Victorian house museum located in Pueblo, offering guided tours that showcase its rich history and well-preserved furnishings. Built in 1893, this five-story mansion was the home of a prominent local businessman and his family. It features 85 percent of its original furnishings, decorative arts, accessories, and custom craftsmanship, providing visitors with an authentic glimpse into late 19th-century life where the East met the West. The museum is closed every January for cleaning and repairs, as well as all major holidays, with the last tour starting at 2:30 pm daily. Visitors often praise the knowledgeable guides, who share interesting facts about the house and its owners, making each tour engaging and informative. Beautifully preserved home. The Christmas decor made the tour even more fun. This was my second visit and I discovered new things as each docent offers a slightly different tour.
