Been going here for years. It's been 2 weeks to refill a prescription. Went in today and they have no record of the prescription being processed after I talked to the pharmacy on the phone 2 days ago and they said everything was good too go.This place has become terribly awful. Pharmacist are arrogant kids that think customers owe them something. I wish this place will go bankrupt permanently.

For the last two years I’ve been using this pharmacy and every time I pick up my prescription something goes wrong. I’m tired of being shorted on meds every single month, I’ve been given the wrong prescription more times then I can count. I’ve been told many times my script was not ready to be filled even though my doctor told me himself that the script was sent in and is ready. Because of the negligence of the people who work in this pharmacy I’ve had to go without my meds entirely which has caused many issues in my life.If you are reading this review and considering using this pharmacy, don’t. There isn’t a single person working behind that counter that knows what they are doing. It’s clear that they are all there simply for a paycheck because after two years of nonstop drama with this pharmacy I haven’t had one single good experience.

Would be nice to occasionally have someone wait on me who's friendly there. Always feel like I'm bugging them.

Tried to talk to pharmacist about the current situation I'm dealing with and he hung up after rudely asking me to get to the point. What's wrong with the people in this town?

I switched to this pharmacy to get away from unprofessional treatment. Within the last 9 months service and reliability went down the wrong road. There are a handful of good people that work here and are willing to help but not many. Needless to say I switched pharmacies.

It seems like every time I go to this pharmacy the staff has no clue how to properly run insurance and almost always causes a debacle filling my prescriptions, all the while with sour attitudes. My family quit using this pharmacy for these issues a few years ago. Recently my doctor accidentally sent my prescription here so I thought I'd give them another try. Nope, still a royal pain in the butt. The staff couldn't fill my prescription and couldn't even give me a straight answer as to why it couldn't be filled. I called a different pharmacy and was told information that was completely opposite to what this Safeway told me about my insurance coverage, thus proving they didnt actually run my insurance with the correct medication even though they promised they did. I'm disappointed, it seemed like the staff at this Safeway lied to me about how they ran my insurance versus what they had in stock because I was told opposite of what actually happened when they tried to fill my prescription. The best part is this headache started off with, "your prescription is ready for pick up"...nope. It wasn't- the above confusion and attitude from the staff ensued the moment I arrived to pick it up. Never getting prescriptions at this location ever again- a hassle, rude, and slow.

Worst pharmacy the pharmacist thinks he’s a doctor and won’t do his job if you wanted to be a doctor you should have went to medical school and the people behind the counter are so rude and forget calling they never answer the phone or send reminders to your phone so you have to drive down there just to find out that your stuff is not ready or there questioning the doctor and won’t fill your script so don’t wast time go somewhere else

I tried to fill my prescriptions at this Safeway pharmacy and it was a NIGHTMARE. The pharmacist, Eddie, was treating me like I was a criminal. The medications I was filling were *not* controlled substances. He immediately asked me when the last time I filled a certain one was, and I told him that I didn't remember because I hadn't taken it in a while but that my doctor would know. He was very aggressive and demeaning in his words and actions and said he can't fill it and has "a couple of questions" for my doctor, including when I last filled it and why I'm being prescribed the medication (which is truly none of his business in the first place). He then demanded to know what medication I was filling at the other pharmacy across the street (also none of his business but I told him anyway). My doctor found that one of my medications was actually cheaper to fill at the King Soopers pharmacy across the street, so she sent three to Safeway and one to King Soopers. I asked if I could get in contact with the doctor now and have her talk to him so I can leave with all of my *necessary* medications as I live 40 minutes out of town and drove there just to pick the prescriptions up. He angrily said I could try to do that. I then stepped aside and called my doctor's office and they told me that they'd call the pharmacy to talk to him. At some point, he told me I have to step aside (I already was stepped aside and they were helping another customer) so I said "no problem, sorry about that" and moved further away and stood next to the over-the-counter medications. I was in this area for several minutes just waiting for my doctor's office to get a hold of them. After several minutes, he yelled "SIR, I ALREADY TOLD YOU ONCE, YOU NEED TO STEP AWAY FROM ME AND GO SIT DOWN. YOU'RE MAKING ME UNCOMFORTABLE" (aggressively pointing at a nearby chair). I have no idea how standing in an area he instructed me to was making him uncomfortable but okay... I was very polite and asked him, "Why am I being treated like a criminal? What's going on?". Again, he yelled at me to walk away. At this point I'm getting frustrated and said "What the heck is going on? Why am I being treated like this, like a criminal? This is b********* At this point, he tells me he won't fill my prescription and told me to leave because of my language. I never once even raised my voice, though I was upset. I've been taking prescription medications basically my whole life (I'm 36, started when I was 13) and I've NEVER had ANY issues with a pharmacist or ANY staff. I've been in patient care for 16 years and regularly have intimate encounters with patients who praise my kindness and loving heart to my managers. I don't expect everyone to have the quality of patient care I do but I definitely don't expect to be treated like a criminal for absolutely no reason. I was just trying to fill a normal medication that, again, is NOT a controlled substance. The whole time he was acting like I was trying to scam him for oxycontin or something. I did nothing wrong and then when he talked to my doctor's office, he told them that I was cursing at him and making him feel uncomfortable by standing where I thought he wanted me to stand and then he told them not to send anymore of my prescriptions to his pharmacy and HUNG UP on my doctor. I'll admit I ended up getting a little worked up after he was yelling at me to leave his sight but all I said was that "this is b******** that I was being treated like a criminal for trying to fill a very common med. I definitely was NOT cursing him out. Though when I was walking out of the store, I did say to myself out loud, "what an a******** I have spoken with the manager, Damian, and he is going to have the store director, Dave Wilson, call me in the next day or two. Damian was very professional and apologized profusely. I'm going to suggest that Mr. Wilson pulls the security tape footage to

Good pharmacy I just switched from northern Walgreens and I'm glad. I went thru so much with some workers there. Terrible experience.

This Safeway must be the most disgusting grocery store I've ever seen. The floors are filthy, the shelves are a mess and the meat section looks like something out of a third world country. Whoever is managing this store must live in a pigsty not to notice the foul unsanitary conditions that the store is in.

The bait and switch with your company is out of control since Albertson's bought you is out of control. I have several times seen items on Jist4U that convince me to shop here. Then when I come in there isn't even a home on the shelf for the item to be stocked. Come back when the coupon is expired and magically the item is on the shelf with a home. If it keeps happening I'm tempted to report this to the state's attorney general office
