I’m tired of their standard contact fitting fee when we don’t get contacts here, and arguing with them about it. It’s basically their way of charging you to give you a copy of your contact prescription so you can go buy cheaper contacts somewhere else. We’ve been coming here for years but I’m finally over it. Hope their $34 contact fitting fee was worth the loss of an entire family’s business.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. A lady there Angie or Angela, I don’t know her name, but she is absolutely rude. I’ve never been to a place where someone was so rude. She was Inappropriate and unprofessional do not go there

Ashley, the manager at the location on Fortino Street is simply the best person I have spoken to. I firmly believe that people are a reflection of the institutions, and institutions reflections of the people, in which they serve. Therefore, I can say without a doubt that Southern Colorado Eye Care is by far the best provider for vision care in Colorado! Thank you, Ashley and Southern Colorado Eye, both for enhancing my family's quality of life!

If you want to pay twice what you should for contacts this is your place. Quoted me at 144 dollars for 6 contacts. Didn't buy them because that's literally twice what I usually pay. Called another doctor and was quoted at 87 dollars for 6 that's 174 for 12. I called to see if they made a mistake at 2x the cost no mistake just straight price gouging. It's sad this is how most medical facilities in the US operate. They want your money and care about nothing else, your health is not a concern to them

Worst customer service! They crack my lenses after I go for a simple adjustment, tell me they will rush the order. I have been waiting a MONTH! They do not return my messages!

This place is wonderful! The staff is super friendly and the place itself is well kept! Dr. Cozzetta was wonderful! My eye had become blurry, swollen, and painful. I went to the emergency room and they saw nothing. So I contacted Dr. Cozzetta and he was able to see me very quickly. He saw my cornea was scratched and thoroughly cleaned it eye and prescribed me medications! My eye was completely better within a week! I will definitely see him again for eye appointments!

I am super upset by the way I was treated today over the phone. On August 17, I made an appointment for a contact lens exam. I was told I would be getting trials in the mail. I am originally from Colorado and I just moved to Nevada. I asked them if they could possibly send my trials to my new address in Nevada. And they agreed. I was told it should take 2 to 3 weeks for them to be delivered. Which I thought was great because I am used to waiting up to 6 weeks. I am well aware that my vision is horrible and I have struggled with this since 2nd grade. I called today to check on the status of where my contacts were because I had not received them in the mail yet. I was put on hold, then another woman picked up the phone and said well your contacts will cost $135 dollars a box, they won’t be here for well over a month, and you have to come in so we can teach you how to put them in because they are XRs. Okay, I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I have been wearing XRs for awhile now for my astigmatism- they are soft contacts. So, what this woman should have said is “oops, looks like we forgot to order your trial pair of contacts.” If you mess up please own up to it, yeah I would have been upset but not near as upset as I am being lied to. Also, the doctor said it was completely fine for these trials to be sent to my address in Nevada. So now I have to wait for them to “maybe” send me MY prescription in the mail so I can go elsewhere to get a trial pair of contacts after I paid for an exam and a special test for my eyes out of pocket. I’m not one to complain but I feel like I was pushed under the rug so to speak. I would have gladly ordered these contacts by the box from your company, but after this incident I feel extremely disrespected. I would just like to be able to see, is that too much to ask for?

I highly recommend Southern Colorado Eye Care Associates! Dr. Cozzetta and his staff are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. The office is very clean and they have a nice selection of eyewear. Simply the best!
