Love the idea of this place but not the execution. They made an effort to turn this jail into a lovely hotel. In the process they missed the opportunity to keep a lot of the history and details. There's no story or pictures or anything that would make you understand the cultural context aside from a few old bar doors in the hallway. In addition, it was as if they A-L-M-O-S-T got to the higher end look that they were going for. But a lot of it was tacky. Poorly printed taped up signs in the bathroom and sink area stated things such as, "Our bathtubs have not been functioning bathtubs since 2019. You can only use the shower function. WE DO NOT ADVERTISE THAT WE OFFER BATHTUBS IN ANY OF OUR BOOKING SITES." (The bathtub IS front and center in the room.) The ice machine didn't have ice (which usually I wouldn't care but I was post surgery and needed it). The Keurig coffee maker was shared and in the hallway - also not connected to water. So, want your morning coffee, hobble out to the hallway and cart your water. Plus the Clink (yes a separate entity but an attraction we were looking forward to) was closed for a private party. It was as if someone had the right idea but couldn't quit execute. Meh.But, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the location is fantastic and, again, I liked the idea. So, I could have looked beyond some of the miss-steps if it wasn't for one thing... the utter, complete and absolute lack of service. Day of arrival we received a voicemail notifying us that we would be billed and receive a text for how to check in. Great. Except there was no text. I was provided a call back number which was never answered. We arrived at the desk and it was unmanned - ALL DAY. I attempted to call the number again and we could hear the desk phone ringing. We waited 30 minutes before another guest walked in who awkwardly showed us where the keys were located. As we were never provided a door code and, therefore, come after hours we were locked out. There's an emergency number listed - but they make clear is is only for emergencies only and seemed rather annoyed when it was called. There is NO ONE to contact if you have a question or simple concern. In the service industry that seems completely unprofessional. No one ever once returned our call, followed up or apologized. It was absolutely ridiculous.I will say, I was completely charmed by Pueblo in a way I never expected. There's a lot of character in this town. I will certainly be back to visit but I will not at the Station.

The Station is a wonderful little boutique hotel that you won't want to miss. Snuggled up next to the Riverwalk and right in the middle of Old Pueblo, the charm of this place is first class. A shame the giant garden tub wasn't operational, but the overhead shower was perfectly fine. We weren't expecting the giant tub anyway so it wasn't a huge issue. Beds are VERY soft & plush so if you have back issues be forewarned. We stayed on a Sunday, so the downstairs bar, The Clink, was closed but it also looked very charming and inviting. Definitely recommend this hotel. There are eateries all over nearby for any price range - mid to high range if you eat on the Riverwalk, lower if you go for fast food (of which there is plenty). Earlier check-ins if needed & the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Smokers: These are non-smoking rooms and Pueblo is no smoking in public areas so be prepared. (Smoking in the rooms incurs a huge extra fee so save yourself a headache and abide by the rules.Safety: If exploring the area after dark, please don't walk alone. Most everything is relatively safe, but perfect yourself with a group or partner.Walkability: Right on the Riverwalk and within walking distance of places like Neon Alley and Old Town as well as a quaint downtown with lots of adorable shops.

It was alright, but some things could have been better. They left me the remainder of a coffee pack unused by the previous guest. Good thing my wife doesn't drink coffee or it would have been insufficient. Kettle had old water and for some reason coffee grounds inside. We were told there was a designated smoking area, but no signage for it. Had to just find a place outside on our own.Nearby activities: Lots to do every day of the week except Sunday.Walkability: Tons of things in walking distance.Noteworthy details: It's a very old building. Keep that in mind and all it entails.

The staff is so helpful, sweet and amazing. Very unique experience that my son and I enjoyed. And the pillows are oh so fluffy! Two free drink tickets to Tge Clink were I clouded, and free parking was available across the street from the hotel. There are a few places within walking distance to eat or grab drinks. In Cell 6 you could hear music faintly from the neighboring business when going to sleep, but the hotel also provided ear plugs if you are not a heavy sleeper.

Overall great place to stay! A little on the pricey side for the winter, but worth it. Room is very nice, good amenities. Only complaint is the bar music gets a little loud, but you can turn on the fan to tune it out

Stumbled onto the Riverwalk while driving through CO and wanted a cool stop for the night. Hit a great little museum, had a yummy dinner at Brues, and then hit the jackpot by stumbling into the clink and booking a room at the station! The bar manager, Joshua, walked us through a few rooms to pick the best one for us (traveling with kiddos) and they are all so cool! Ended up in a badass room with super comfy beds and linens, top notch service, and incredibly crafted cocktails. Will absolutely stop here again on our way back through!

This place used to be great. The service had gone downhill in the last year or so and there are host of little issues that have cropped up with the rooms in my last experience. Not to mention they apparently don't respond to voicemails or messages on their website. I hope it'll come back up but for now I'll use the Marriott.

Very unique, chic, and clean! Easy check in process. It is a little pricey, especially considering we stayed mid-week and in the winter. There wasn’t anyone out and about on the Riverwalk and it seems the price would be a little cheaper considering these things. We did love the hotel and the vibe though! They gave us two free drinks at The Clink, a cute little lounge type bar. We had great service and delicious drinks. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we were pleased. The room was decorated beautifully. The bed was super comfy. Everything had a great aesthetic!

Cell#1: Great concept, decor, linens, location. 5 stars for all that. Toilet seat loose, bed night stand light not functional, tub not functional, no chair (only bed seating), all survivable. No mention made of the loud music coming from the pub next door. Started at 8 PM and didn’t let up. Before you book ask about the music. Finally with a 3 foot climb (small ladder) and step down into deep tub, it’s not a room for an older or physically limited person. Music is deal breaker.

The room was great. High ceilings with a large bathroom and shower stall. This is a fun place to stay. Unique and enjoyable. My only criticism is our room (cell 7) is adjacent to a beer garden with live music so it was a little loud. If you aren't a night owl, you should be advised when making reservations to ask for a quiet room.

I stayed here while on a work trip. It was very clean and I had a great night sleep in the comfy bed. I left some important things in the room and the staff worked with me to return the items! Great customer service!

The stay was ok. There was an issue with their free parking as it was a day before the fest and a parking permit was necessary. I would have appreciated the heads up. Cell 3, stay and play room. Chair in room that is not functional as it sits too low to the ground in a small corner of the room. No working tub in the room, no big deal, but you have to step up into a very high tub to shower which is ridiculous and dangerous for older people like me. In addition, the fireplace in my room did not work and the TV was awkwardly positioned in relation to the bed. The room was not the cleanest, I was disappointed because this room was over $200 for the night. If you are expecting a themed hotel like I was, this isn't it. Not much of a jail vibe at all in my opinion. The bed was comfortable and I thought it was quiet, no problems there. Willing to try a different room and give them a 2nd chance, overall decent accommodations.

Cell 4 is small, but sparkling clean. Excellent shower, but water takes several minutes to get warm. Comfy bed, husband found it too enveloping, like sleeping in marshmallow fluff. Maybe percale sheets would be less slurpy. Fitted sheet came loose in the night, adding to the crowded feeling what with pillows, soft, clingy sheets, etc. Concept is cute. Chic industrial says it all. Seems ideal for a wedding party. Rent the event space and put your friends in “jail.” That said, our room was obviously never a jail cell, given that it originally had 2 very large windows which have been tastefully sized down for privacy. Room was quiet, late check-in was smooth.
