I have been more than pleased to patronize this hardware store which improved drastically when they obtained the Ace Hardware franchise. However, the key to the outstanding service has been the store supervisor, whom I will not name directly, who kept the business running like a clock for a few years now. For some reason he was taken off the work schedule just in late spring/early summer arrived this year, just when most of us begin to tackle myriad projects that have built up over the winter months. The store quickly went into chaos. I found the store closed during advertised hours over a half dozen times through the summer with no sign advising why, when/if it would reopen and the turnover in staff was such that many of they were not very helpful. Additionally, inventory lapsed and I found many items out of stock. This previous supervisor kept it running smoothly. His business acumen, attentiveness to customers, constant training and guidance with staff that was obvious, constant and visible on nearly every visit. This owner has been clearly out of touch with what made the business so enjoyable prior to this year. I now plan my hardware purchases as much in advance as possible so that I can visit Home Depot or Lowes on shopping trips to Fort Collins just because I can't 1) be sure they will be open and 2) that they will have what I need in stock. Sad state of affairs.

I know better than to go here, but I was near so I went in to see if they had screws to hang gutters. Did not see any, so I asked the man working. He said, “all the screws were over there, I can’t be expected to know all the different screws in the store”! He walked away.

This place is pretty amazing. They have just about anything you would expect from a small town hardware store. I remember a few years back when they were in their original building. When Ace took over and added on, I could hardly believe that they would be able to stay in business, but they do. It seems like I go there every day !

I love this place, so proud that I actually got to oversee and build it, Steve, his mom Michelle and Tim are awesome. They treated me like family. The people here in Red Feather are so so friendly. I absolutely love it here, if I have free time, this is where I go, and to visit Georgia across the road.

I was on a camping trip in Red Feathers and needed a set of tie downs for an "Easy Up" and found exactly what I needed plus some extras. It's great to have a well stocked Ace Hardware in a mountain get away. Thanks a lot.

Pretty well stocked for a sneak town mountain hardware store! It's the only hardware store for miles, so very convenient, and prices are the same as they would be anywhere else

I am always amazed by the huge range of supplies in Panhandle Creek. If you can't find it here, you probably didn't need it in the first place
