So much fun just hanging out watching the snow fall and people slide down the hill on tubes. I Ventured out snow shoeing over some pretty epic terrain as well.Rooms: We stayed in the lodge what a great time! Cozy and clean with great views.Food & drinks: Great food and drinks I highly recommend the fish tacos.Noteworthy details: Our first visit to Beaver Meadows and it was awesome! I can not say enough about the staff and how accommodating they were. We arrived in a blizzard and the GM Young came to meet us at the entry way to guide us in as there was pretty much zero visibility, Young you are awesome! Also, big shout outs to Hwi Hwi and Isaiah!! Hwi Hwi helped me dig my truck out of the snow on our second day what a great guy, thank you Hwi Hwi. Isaiah was our server in the restaurant he was helpful and pleasant. Great food too, compliments to the chef. The owners Sean and Susi were on the grounds doing snow removal themselves it was a pleasure meeting them such nice people. Thank you to all of those who make this place special and great. We can not wait to return in the summer to camp.

Can't speak to the rooms - we just stopped in to eat, but I imagine they're just as cool as the rest of the place. We had been wandering the Red Feather area, and saw the "Restaurant" sign on 73C.We followed a snowy road back, and found the place. This is a true hidden gem, away from the I-70 insanity, and convenient for those of us in northern Colorado. We were greeted by a friendly lady, Mel, who told us a little about the area, how the place developed, and frankly, was just plain cool to talk to. I really enjoyed the Grilled biscuits & gravy. Totally different flavor, and I loved it.This is an easy drive from Poudre Canyon, so I'll be back with my mom. Thanks for capping a fun drive with a great meal!I was the guy with the blue beard.Nearby activities: We went on a winter day. The Tubing hill, the kids looked like they were really having a blast. I'd try it myself if I didn't break easily.Food & drinks: Try the Grilled Biscuits and Gravy. You can thank me later.

This review is only of the tubbing package. Cannot comment on the rooms etc. We booked a half day tubing package. It wasn't very busy which is wonderful for us. Checked in at the office which went fine, we did all the payment, waivers etc before we came down which made it really easy. However the place where we actually get our jacket badges was difficult. The language barrier was so significant between myself and the attendant it took 15 minutes just to get our name across and get stickers. Quite a few of the tubing lanes were closed, presumably this was because of lack of snowfall which is certainly reasonable. However, there was only one attendant at the top to help people start their tubing so we started ourselves without guidance. Towards the end of the day, a few other individuals/attendanta showed up at the top of the hills however, they were drinking beer comenced making a pit fire with chainsaws, gasoline all while drinking and while helping people down the hill. This was a little concerning and certainly not "family focused". Included in the half day package is supposed to be some ice skating. They had not shoveled off the snow off the frozen lake to have this even be an option. We've come here annually for 7 or 8 years now, but the first time after the sale to the new owners. It has gone downhill. However once again, this only speaks of the tubing package and not the resort or summer activities.

Amazing place with breathtaking views! Booking was simple and the staff was more than willing to accomodate our schedule providing us with late check-in. The restaurant has AMAZING food, I highly reccomend tubing and skating if weather permits. Special thanks to Brian in reception he was very knowledgeable of all the areas if the resirt and with aquick chat helped us decide what activities to take.

It's been years since our last trip to Beaver Meadows - it has changed, a lot! The rooms are so cute now, they even gave us house slippers and a personalized "welcome" note. The food was better than I remember. We lived in Red Feather for a while, and I always remember their food being better than other options, but it was a step up from what I remember. Tubing was crazy, but fun, as always. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I think I'm most impressed with the room renovations - much nicer than what they used to be. Kudos to whoever came in and spruced that place up!

In mid-Dec, came here for the first time, to go snow tubing. There was no mention on their website that only 2 of their 12 runs were open. One of the runs seemed too dangerous --- my friend almost hit the fence on it, and we only saw one other person use it once. So it was really just 1 run that was open, for no discount on the price. Also, when I purchased our tickets online, there was a lot of emphasis on the 15-minute safety talk. We never got that, even when I specifically asked what we needed to know and said that it was my first time snow-tubing. I did end up hurting my tailbone and ankle, trying to avoid the big clumps of icy snow on the right-hand side of the run. Of course, those things could happen in any situation, but maybe a safety talk could have helped prevent them?Safety: Didn't get the 15-minute safety talk that they emphasize so much --- even when I specifically asked for it.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic time up here last weekend for some winter camping. The staff went out of their way to plow most of the camping road, even though we were the only ones camping that weekend. The renovated restaurant, lodge, and showers are phenomenal. And the place is so beautiful in the winter. We ended up meeting the new owners and they are very kind and doing a fantastic job with the place. Also, the food and service at the restaurant blew us away. One of the best breakfasts we had in a while anywhere! Come check this place out, you wont regret it!

Super fun but if they would make the price of tubing more reasonable we’d visit more than once, maybe ever. Plain and simply outrageous.

I’ve stayed here in the summer and the winter. Both were very pleasant experiences. The staff are super friendly and the rooms/cabins are really nice. I highly recommend staying here. A cabin in the winter with a restaurant to eat at, ice skating, and snow tubing is the best. I will definitely be coming back.
