The Redstone Inn is a historic hotel and venue located in a small town tucked away in the breathtaking Crystal River Valley, offering a quiet and intimate feel with impressive mountain views and a calm atmosphere. The building itself, constructed in the early twentieth century, is full of character and charm, with a postcard-perfect main street nearby. It provides a beautiful, fairy-tale backdrop perfect for weddings, with a ceremony space that accommodates guests nicely and a recently renovated reception tent and bar area that is fabulous. The event and wedding staff are organized, accommodating, and hardworking, ensuring every detail is handled from start to finish, allowing for a creative and perfect experience. Guests are consistently impressed with the food, which is outstanding, delicious, and well-prepared, from the wedding dinner buffet to the genuinely good breakfast, noted as the best in Colorado. The affiliated Redstone Grill is a reliable favorite with a wonderfully cozy, historic saloon atmosphere. The staff there is consistently friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The food is solidly good with fresh ingredients, featuring highlights like a popular baked brie appetizer. The stunning, scenic drive to reach the area along Highway 133, winding past red cliffs, the sparkling river, historic coke ovens, and majestic mountains, is a beautiful treat. The hotel stands in a very beautiful location, with engaging walks around the property past the interesting historical coke ovens. While the venue and service are highly recommended, a noted downside is that the hotel beds are not very comfortable, which affects the overall stay. Nonetheless, the Redstone Inn is wholeheartedly recommended as a gem of a mountain town destination for weddings, visits, and enjoyable meals.
