We had lunch on the patio, and it was perfect. Jackie is an attentive and lovely waitress, the food was excellent as always, and the price is fair considering the beautiful location.

Being in a cell dead-zone, the only way to connect to the outside would would be via internet. Therefore, it's critical that this Inn has internet. It doesn't have working internet. The Inn should prioritize internet above all else before the Inn itself becomes a tourism dead-zone.

I have to say it was not at all what I was expecting. The rooms were very small and even though they had to clean the rooms before we checked in they were not very clean. The sink had coffee sitting in it and there was a pill on the floor from the previous guests. The front desk staff was gruff and not very friendly.
The amenities were pretty good and the food was good if a little expensive. The staff in the restaurant was really nice and friendly.
We came for a family wedding and the staff did an exceptional job with everything. It was beautiful. The place has plenty of history and could be seen as a great place to visit but I would limit my stay to no more than 3 days.
Walkability: The town of Redstone is very close and easily accessed by foot.

No air condition, no coffee, no tv( out, and on)
WiFi, on off, staff not knowledgeable of the history, main draw.
Can’t see castle and no history? ( Google).
Big over priced hotel (so sad) falling apart.
Rooms: The rooms are not up to standards of the 1920’s , doors , bath room all basic styles are junk and are falling apart at the seams.
Work camps of 3rd world prisons look on the same level.
Nearby activities: None
Food and drinks: The hotel bar food and service was the highlight, nice people. Not much food choice.
Noteworthy details: Don’t expect to find any snacks or coffee or modern convenience, bring your own.like hot water. Coffee cups

We used to have a family house my Grandpa Cross (and then his children) built that's just up the road from Redstone on Elk Mountain Dr. I have so many fond childhood memories in Redstone like my mom fishing for rainbow trout in the Crystal River and visiting our town friends, the original gallery owners - Eric who sculpted the large white marble statues around town, like the fish, "The One That Got Away" in the park, and his sweet wife.
I've always wanted to stay a night at the inn since I was a little girl. It finally happened, and I was not disappointed! Yes, it's noisy from the neighbors because the building is old, but everything from the old desk in the room to the small-tiled bathroom floor to the old lounge and dining hall is perfect. The inn looks very much like it did when I was a kid, (and from the building's historical past).
Lots of history here and it's shared well about the rest of the small town, as well. The grill has a wonderful breakfast, and the staff this summer is very friendly and professional.
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub with beautiful views, including a gorgeous bear that visited near the back patio in the morning. (No, we didn't get too close to it.)
I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend this place to anyone who wants a very special memory while visiting Redstone.

Very cold room and bathroom which the radiator wouldn’t heat properly and a restaurant so cold you had to wear a coat and hat while eating. They won’t even let you have a drink in the sitting room by the fireplace to warm up. No soundproofing so you heard loud voices all night in hallway and car doors slamming outside. The charm fades quickly when you shiver the whole time there and lack sleep due to noise for almost $150 a night. The internet lags making it impossible to watch a movie on the room tv as it reboots every 30 seconds. Very poor lighting made it difficult to see let alone read in the room. Overall I felt catfished and ripped off by this place.

The most gorgeous views. The nicest staff. Even good food. But the best part of Redstone Inn is the quiet and the comfort to be found along the Crystal River. Beautiful. God's majesty at a glance.Nearby activities: Hiking, art gallery, lots of History
