My in-laws live in Rico, and this place is a staple of the super small town. Granted it is a gas station, this one stop shop has plenty to supply. Even beer and liquor! It's clean, stocked, and the owners are super nice and friendly.

It’s the people, the presentation, and the delivery. They’re the best. Highly recommended. Also, they have hummingbirds.

SCAM ALERT! Do not swipe your credit/debit card at their pump. Someone has a card reader that steals your information, and downloads is to make fake cards with your info on it. My daughter and I both swiped our cards there on may 30th and June 3rd and then on June 8th we both had hundreds of dollars stolen via this scam. It's the old outdated pumps that allow this fraud to happen.

Stop in here briefly recently & was pleasantly surprised by the friendly customer service......Seems like a much-needed resource for this small town with clean bathrooms! My husband was impressed by the craft beer selection too :) We will be back !

Several years ago I stopped at Mountain top fuel for some food and gas while passing through Rico. I was pleasantly greeted by the smell of handmade soaps and a very friendly woman. She was very welcoming, and gave me a great impression of the town. The products were very cheap, and her handmade soaps were beautiful. As we were passing through again, I was disappointed to find that the previous owner had been kicked out. The new owner gave us the impression that she did not want us in her store, and was very rude and unhelpful. We wound up spending about $65 for a tank of gas and 2 iced teas. Not to mention that we waited almost 20 minutes to pay for our drinks. None of the prices were marked, and all of the items were highly overpriced. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I find that it is actually less convenient having this store in our town. The hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m exactly whom are you catering to? People who don't work during the day I guess. I have a day job, I'll never get to shop there. I miss the couple that used to run the place. "They soap people" They had hours that serviced everyone in our community. They were open when I needed something. The liquor store seems to be able to get it together... If only they sold food.
