Second Chance Thrift Store is a place that supports a great cause, giving back to the animals. It is a great organization to support. The store has a few different buildings organized by the type of items, and it is well organized. They have a lot of inventory and a lot of really high quality items, including discount brand name gear. There are definitely some good finds and a great dollar rack with some half price color tags. However, the store is a bit cluttered and not the most clean and put together inside. Many reviewers feel the prices are pretty high, grossly overpriced, and out of hand for a thrift store, with some items picked at resell price. They regularly see employees search online for prices. Not everything is inexpensive. Despite this, the staff and volunteers are always very friendly, nice, and provide excellent, super friendly service. It is a great little thrift shop and a definite place to stop for treasures, especially on a road trip.
We don’t shop here but we have donated many items to support the animal shelter. Donations, purchases and volunteers are all critical parts of the Thrift Store’s fundraising to support the shelter.

This place is great! The staff are always so friendly and it all goes to a great cause! We always stop here when we come from Texas. It is definitely a place to stop! 😊
