You know, I was there to just see the falls, and they are gorgeous. I am not sure there is much else to do there though.

Nice little state park, easy trails, pretty waterfall, fun caves (take a headlamp or flashlight to really explore), plus fishing upstream from falls (numerous visible fish).Quiet, pleasant, nice fall colors.

It's about 20 minutes north of the interstate, but well worth a stop if you're near Rifle, CO. We just stopped to visit the falls but they have some camping there as well. The falls were wonderful and depending on the time of day you go they cast a great rainbow. There are pit toilets for restrooms. You do have to pay a entrance fee.

Made the drive to see this beauty during our stay from Omaha to Glenwood Springs. First time seeing a waterfall .. it was surreal. Mother nature is amazing.

The park rangers/staff will greet you the second you arrive to tell you where you can park. Any of the 5 trails take you to the falls. It’s a short hike to see the falls. It’s mostly a paved path which makes this hike kid friendly. It is a popular destination which makes it CROWDED, so if that isn’t what you’re looking for I would consider another waterfall hike. The hike features some great caves you can explore along the paved trails.

An amazing, hidden gem within the Colorado state park system! A little out of the way from I-70, but worth the trip. $10 per vehicle for a day pass. Be sure to hike around the trails and read the signs to learn about the intriguing history of the falls and the surrounding area. Vault toilets and picnic tables near parking lot. Dogs are allowed on the trails, up to a certain point, read carefully. Take only pictures, leave only footprints.

Tiny little state park. Self-serve to pay. Nice walking path around the edges where you can look at some caves and go above the waterfalls. They were picnic tables available. They were restrooms available. I would go there again.

Awesome experience!... Nice walkways, and the coyote trail was easy enough for my 4 year old and pregnant wife. Lots of caves and views along the way... and some ponds to fish at the top..

It’s a nice little hike up and around the falls for a nice insta worthy clicks and enjoy the nature. Plenty of parking around but during hike be careful of entering the narrow caves as you may find snakes around. 2-3 hours are enough to hang around in peace.Playground: Plenty of open area for stroll and gamesRestrooms: Potter potty is available and well maintainedDog-friendliness: It’s wilderness and definitely dog-friendlyPicnic area: There’s shades and gazebos available

Amazing state park, beautiful waterfalls, caves and gorgeous hiking trails. Our first time here, visiting from Miami and this park didn't disappoint. We saw birds, wildlife and even hiked to the fish hatchery. The trail to the fish hatchery is not easy and tight in a few areas but very worth it.

Very nice waterfalls that you can see after a short walk from the parking lot. Then after a climb up a hill and some stairs, you can hike around to see the falls from multiple angles. It was very beautiful.
