We have rafted with Monumental Expeditions for a number years, ever since we met them launching rafts at the Ruby Mountain campground years ago. This is a smaller, family run outfit that is very friendly, and has always served our family's rafting needs well. Nice to support a local Arkansas Valley business.

We had a phenomenal time with Adam! He is very knowledgeable of the river, a powerhouse on the back of the boat, funny and made us feel confident going through the rapids. Lisa was friendly, helpful, and had some awesome driving skills! We really appreciated the personalized service that you might not get with the bigger companies. So, my favorite thing in the whole wide world is getting on a beautiful river with my dog and the people I love. Adam and Lisa, the owners of Monumental expeditions were able to make this come true. They had a great set up for us and our great dane Marley. It was a large piece of flexible foam on a wooden board mounted so the dog could be comfortable. Adam chose a calmer stretch of the river for us as Marley had never been on the water before. Everything was just perfect. Can’t wait to come back and float the tougher sections of the river, which Adam is more than qualified to handle. Great company, great service, and a great drop in the bucket list!

Adam was a great guide sharing his experience with our group. Monumental Expeditions is a small outfit which makes it great. No waiting for 6-10 rafts to get ready or waiting on the river for laggard rafts from the same outfit. In and out of the river in minutes and ridding the river by ourselves. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of going on a whitewater rafting tour with Monumental Expeditions, and I can't recommend them enough! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The guide, Adam, was incredibly knowledgeable, making sure we were well-prepared and safe throughout the journey. They had a perfect balance of professionalism and fun, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
The river was breathtakingly beautiful, and the rapids were exhilarating! Adam knew the river like the back of his hand, expertly navigating us through thrilling sections while also pointing out interesting sights along the way. It was clear that Monumental Expeditions is passionate about what they do, and they genuinely care about providing a top-notch experience for their guests.
My wife and I completed the all day trip and Adam catered us a gourmet lunch (one of the best deli sandwiches I’ve had), I can’t give away his secret recipe, but it was amazing.
Whether you're a seasoned rafter or a first-timer, this tour is an absolute must. The equipment was top-notch, the safety measures were thorough, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and exciting. I can't wait to book another adventure with Monumental Expeditions, next time bringing our 7 year old son. This was, without a doubt, one of the best outdoor experiences I've ever had!

This is our second trip with Monumental Expeditions and it was just as great as the first time! Adam and Lisa were great at communicating, keeping everyone safe, and making sure we all had a great trip. Would definitely recommend you book with Monumental for Brown's Canyon or any of their other trips!

Our guide Michael was amazing. We booked the night before and ended up on a private raft- just us and our guide!! It was so fun to learn about the river and town while paddling on class III rapids. The river was high which made everything super exciting!
Highly recommend going with this smaller company over the large commercial ones!!

Had a great time in Browns Canyon! Scenic and accessible fun on the river. This is a smaller organization so the onboarding and shuttling process went much faster and smoother than larger outfitters—price points are cheaper as well. Our guide Adam was impressively experienced, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Looking forward to the next rafting adventure!

This was our first time rafting and we couldn’t have had a better experience! We had sooo much fun! Adam was an awesome guide- extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in advance. They even provided all of the gear. I definitely recommend Monumental Expeditions for a 5 star experience!
