DO NOT RENT HERE. The gate is always open so if you want secured storage, THIS IS NOT IT. Multiple times we have gone in, there are homeless/drug addicts hanging around if you spend time in Salida you know there are lots of them). Can't get ahold of anyone to report anything or, if you do manage to talk to someone it is an out of state representative that will "take note" of your concern. Been told since June that "the part just arrived and it will be fixed soon!". I understand getting someone to fix the gate is hard but it shouldn't take months, get someone from the city since there isn't anyone in town! Or at least discount your tenants since it is far from secure. (I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews, but apparently this is the only way to get the attention of someone in charge)

Gate has been broken for several months. When you call the business calls go to a call center in india. Was never told anything about having to give a 30 day notice in order to get my deposit back for the storage unit and was not refunded for last few days of the month that the storage unit was not used. Do Not Do Business with this company. They will scam you and steal your money. Nobody Maintains the property. Even if you sweep out your unit nobody will know that it was swept out. Was waiting for 10 days from an Answer from a manager of call agents and was told i will only be refunded deposit if i gave a 30 day notice which i was never told that before.

This Is a Diamond!!I have leased a unit from Salida Secured Storage LLC for almost 5 years, and I have been very impressed with their security and maintenance. The new owner and management team have done an excellent job of keeping the grounds clean and safe, and I have never felt my belongings more secure. The pricing is also very reasonable, and I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone.Tiffany Allison11-09-22

Good communication, they have a fence around the property with a gate code system. Spaces are very clean and in good condition. I’ve had good experiences here and recommend.

I saw the negative reviews for this company but on reading further that they were under new management, decided to give them a try. I rented a 10 X 17 storage unit for 1 month and was very pleased with their service. The units are clean and secure and although the grounds are not staffed, the fencing is secure and the gate opens every time with your personal comination.I only had 1 issue and it was regarding billing. Once I pointed it out to the 800 #, the issue was rectified without any further problems.

The locker had trash in it upon arrival Broken glass, a torn apart refrigerator. It was supposedly a "ready to go unit." It's obvious that no one goes in to inspect lockers after a person has vacated their belongings to see the condition. This company requires a deposit fee and that deposit fee is promised back IF the person leaves the locker in a re-rentable state (with no turnover time in between I imagine). After renting there is no way to get in touch with anyone, everything is done online (which to point, is convenient). However, to be in good standing in a small town anddoing business with local people, a company MUST go the extra mile and go above and beyond with customer service. It is simple, return phone calls, don't hold on to a promised back deposit, AND don't be a coward! Would never recommend this business, it's no wonder all the other storage units were full and this one not, word on the street gets around pretty quickly, especially around Chaffee County!

Beware! Does not honor a deposit refund. Even when you leave locker in better shape than when you rented it. Karen is a greedy person, and won't return calls to paying local customers. Bad business!!! Not the best value for your hard earned money, like they lie about on website

BEWARE! I could have saved myself so much heart break had I read the YELP reviews. My locker was locked and unattended for two months. My mother passed away, and I had rented it to store all of her things until I could emotionally bring myself to go through it all. This week, my son went over to start to sort through items. THE LOCKER WAS OPEN. The LOCK WAS BROKEN. My mother's china, her antique furniture, trunks of my dad's old clothes, family photos GONE! A person a few lockers away said the entire thing had been cleared out by the "owner" weeks ago, a youngish brunette woman in a beige sedan. Terry (the person) thought it was my son's "wife" at first. When I called the office, the woman behind the desk was rude and ineffective. She claimed that she warned her customers not to use the kind of lock I used, and that I should have bought theirs (a $30 dollar lock). Asked if I filed with the police and then end of conversation. No offer to look at the cameras, nothing. And when I filed a report with the police, the officer looked as if he were trying not to roll his eyes. He confirmed what other people around town said, "Oh, that place, it's broken into ALL THE TIME!" BEWARE! I will never any of my mother and father's keepsakes back again. I will never get photographs of my grandparents and great grandparents back. The worst part is that no one cares.
