I’ve been going to Venus for the last 5+ years and have watched the salon expand and grow. Not only is Venus incredible at her craft, the salon is clean, on time and has a great vibe (and no nail salon smell)! I won’t go anywhere else for my nails, or my daughter’s!

Urban Hippie is by far the best nail salon in Windsor. Their beautiful decor and spa like atmosphere make going there a pleasure. My nails were so bad after going to a couple other salons in Windsor. My nail beds were completely damaged. Venus the owner took the challenge and my nails are healthy and beautiful now. I cannot say enough good things about this business and I love keeping my business local. You should definitely give this place a try!

I had a 12:30 pedicure appointment for my mom and I with a note to have ours done at the same time. My mom and I had ours done at different times before, we genuinely get upset about this especially if we got an appointment like today. I got mine started first, 30min later my lady had to ask someone else to do my mom's because the one finishing up someone else's ignored us, they knew we were here, my lady made it clear we were here and ready and on time. My lady did a wonderful job being on time and did amazing work. My mom had another appointment to get to and didn't even get hers finished. I'm happy about mine and disappointed in the business for not only missing the time but not offering ANY compensation for their lack of availability for our appointment. I'd be absolutely a regular here if they were to fix this. But I barly got a genuine sorry. I'd recommend this place for a single user but no couples. Thanks any way...

Urban Hippie has been my salon for over a year now! It’s by far the best nail salon I have been to and the amount of talent in one building is unmatched. Venus cares about her employees and their growth, and it shows! Whole place is super cute and everyone is super friendly. It doesn’t feel like your typical nail salon, it’s more like a family. Jesenia always kills it on my nail art (seriously if you’re into acrylic and nail art hit her up) and I’ve recently started going to her for lash extensions. The amount of compliments I receive on both is unreal. Prices are good, especially for the quality service, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Attached are photos of my services throughout the year to show off the talent <3 I’ll always recommend Jesenia and this salon any chance I get.

Just moving to Windsor, I chose Urban Hippie because it was close to home......I arrived for my FIRST TIME and all employees were on their phones, no one acknowledged me nor greeted me to make me feel welcome. Awkward! When I was asked to yell out my name so someone could claim me, someone finally did. Knowing NOTHING about the company and no one welcoming me or explaining the process, I asked for basic french pedicure. She stated "that is considered 'art' and she didn't have time to do that. Awkward again! She said she'd try to fix her schedule so she can do the "art" and made me feel guilty for asking for what I wanted. I said just put a color on and be done. Sadly, due to my first experience at Urban Hippie Nail Salon and not recieving the actual service I wanted and paying $65 for that service, I can not recommend nor give more than a 2 star on this review. I'm disappointed because it's close to home and I thought I found a nice place to get my pedicures done! As a business owner myself, it's VERY important to make sure all clients feel welcomed as soon as they walk into to the business and never assume everyone knows or understands their policies and procedures!
Requested style: I didn't receive the service I wanted because employee didn't have "time" to do it for me. It would put her "behind" on her schedule. I felt this to be very unprofessional.

I love my nails so much!! I felt so cared for by Venus and the whole staff. I didn’t l know exactly what to ask for or what I wanted, but Venus guided me to the most perfect solution. The new space is GORGEOUS and I can’t wait to come back for a pedicure.

Ana is the best! I went in to get a mani/pedi for my brothers wedding. I brought Ana a fabric sample of my dress (pictured left) and asked for something that would go well with it. My expectation was she may find the right shade of pink. Instead, she took the fabric swatch to the back room and matched EACH color of my dress. Even added an accent nail to mimic the pattern. I received so many compliments for my nails. Ana is a true artist! By the way, this photo was taken about two weeks after my manicure. Still looks great!

I had the exfoliating manicure for natural nails. The exfoliation experience was little more than washing hands with a sugar scrub. The gel manicure turned out lovely. It's my first time getting it, and I loved being able to use my hands as soon as they cured. The parifin treatment was nice and allowed time to check out the little metaphysical and self-care goodies.
Cleanliness: Honestly, it's a bit dusty. Plants need some care. Cool decor otherwise.
Stylist: The staff seemed to get along and look forward to being there with one another. The artist seemed a touch disinterested with making a connection, not mean or anything, just not as engaging as I had hoped for and didn't invite me back. I'll be back, but may try someone new. Maybe she was just having an off day.

My wedding is this weekend, and I booked my bridal nails here. I came in with some broken nails and let me tell you they took care of me!! Darian was fantastic and so gentle the whole time! She completely captured what I wanted my nails for my wedding to look like! Everyone in the salon is so caring it made getting my nails done for a big event that much more special! I could not recommend anyone else better!

If you are looking to get away from the strip-mall nail shops, Urban Hippie is the place! The aesthetic is amazing, the staff are all so sweet and welcoming, and they really seem to care a lot about each of their clients. I have been getting my nails done by Sarah for over a year now, and I can't say enough good things about her and UH.
I am really rough on my hands and nails, and anytime I have a broken nail, or chipped polish, Sarah is there to fix me up! She goes above and beyond to give me advice on how to strengthen my nails, and she tries different techniques to find the right fit for me.
Even my husband loves this place! He gets waxed by Darianne, and always has such wonderful things to say about her.
